We live 30ish minutes from a competitor Formal store. But we choose to drive two hours to McKenzie Jade’s . It’s so worth it!!!! The owners and the staff go above and beyond to make you feel like you are just as important to them as if you are family. The first time we went, McKenzie Jade herself told us to come in before the store opened to try on dresses. We were there with teen Miss North Carolina at the time. It was a wonderful experience.
We were shopping again last week and experienced the same wonderful treatment. Even Mama Jade (Tracey) herself stepped in to help us find the perfect pageant dress. I can’t remember the sweet girls name who helped us. We probably tried on 10 dresses, And she was very patient and understanding. She even picked out the dress we ended up buying. Thank you, McKenzie Jade’s. We will continue to drive two hours because it’s worth it!!!

My 2 hours of searching for the perfect wedding dress was everything I could’ve imagined and more. The diamond suite added a touch of personal time with my family/friends that I am so thankful for! Gen the bridal specialist was AMAZING at helping me pick apart dresses and find the perfect one for me! A great place with some amazing workers who truly make your special day even more special!

Genesis was absolutely amazing! She was so helpful and knowledgeable!!! She gave above and beyond service and I felt so comfortable with her. The only thing I wish I would have done differently is buy my veil at the same time as the dress.

McKenzie Jade is the best. She help me design and select my daughters wardrobe for her national pageant. She also help me stay within my budget. The store has a whole selection of designers and sizes. I appreciate the love and support. I plan to shop for all my pageant items!

I’m a huge fan of McKenzie and have been following her for the longest time! I first visited McKenzie Jade’s back in 2019 when I was in need of a dress for a state pageant. McKenzie helped me find the perfect dress (she actually picked out the one I ended up purchasing!) and was an absolute dream to work with. I kept returning to McKenzie Jade’s for all of my pageant needs and eventually returned to search for the perfect wedding dress. You truly couldn’t ask for a better group of staff members to make you feel so welcomed and confident. They have dresses in a variety of styles and sizes and dresses that fall in line with all budgets!

I walked in pretty much hopeless that I’ll find a gown I liked for my national pageant due to a very bad custom I had done at another store. I walked in and I worked with Kendall and even McKenzie came over along with Tracy and others to help. I was able to find actually multiple dresses that I liked and Loved. I loved the attention of a private room and felt amazing. Also prices are perfect! If you’re looking for your dream dress go here! Also stayed later to help me !!!!! 100% recommend

AMAZING! If you go, ask for Genesis. She was the sweetest and most helpful salesperson. She helped me find my dream wedding gown and was so encouraging and informative throughout the entire process. She didn’t push me to do one dress over another but pointed out all the best features on each one to give me tips on what to look for when deciding. 10/10!

5 STARS!!! This was my 2nd time at MJ’s (first time was for earrings) and this time i got a dress for the Mint Hill pageant. Taylor was so helpful and sweet. She gave recommendations on dresses and gave honest opinions. My zipper busted and McKenzie (owner) helped and she couldn’t get it so Genesis helped and also was sweet. Definitely will come back!

very polite and patient workers! i bought my first prom dress today and it was a wonderful experience. every single employee i talked to was beyond kind. they have a great layout, amazing light up mirrors and a good amount of space to try on dresses.

Give Genesis aka "Gen" a raise! She is amazing!! I have been on the search for a wedding dress and was determined to find something while my mom was in town for the holidays. McKenzie Jade's just happened to be my last stop - ironically it was supposed to be my first but I came down with the flu and had to reschedule my bridal appointment. I had found a couple I liked at other stores, but felt like I was settling. I walked in tonight and was greeted by really friendly faces who were super welcoming. Gen introduced herself and off we went. She was super encouraging and wonderful throughout the entire process. I left with a beautiful dress and veil and I'm so thankful to Gen for her help and guidance and PATIENCE. Thank you for everything tonight, I'm so excited for my dress and can't wait to see it on me again!!! Ya'll are the BEST!!

I love living in Concord because of hidden gems like McKenzie Jade’s. The space is huge and everywhere you look is something gorgeous. Bridal gowns, prom dresses, fabulous shoes OH MY! This is a paradise of sparkle, glam and beauty. The selection is amazing. Usually stores like this never have plus size options, but McKenzie Jade’s has every size and every color imaginable. Even the lighting is great. You feel like a star just trying on the clothes. The staff is super attentive, friendly and they know their inventory inside and out. It was so refreshing not to have to trek all the way to south Charlotte to find something glamorous for a great price and a stunning atmosphere!

The best experience ever shopping for a prom dress by far. Brylee, Tobi, and Jacqueline were so incredibly kind and helpful and determined to help me find the perfect dress and accessories for me. Not only did I find the prettiest dress, but I also met the sweetest girls in the process!

Loved the experience here getting my wedding dress! The special room with the mirrors and seating for friends and family was awesome! We loved the charcuterie board and mimosas! This place is a bit out dated building wise but everything else is really nice. They don't keep their floor samples in bags but have a decent amount of dresses and a clearance section. I was able to buy the floor sample of my dress which gave me a discount! These folks will get you into something nice! Savanah was very helpful and super sweet! Definitely recommend!

Bought my wedding dress from Mackenzie’s. It was the most perfect dress. Genesis was so amazing with her help and knowledge when I went to see the one I knew I wanted. It was the last one I tried on, and she made my day so special.

I had the best experience at McKenzie Jade’s! From the start of trying on dresses, my consultant Erika made me feel as comfortable as possible going into the dressing room. Every dress I tried on she made sure I felt beautiful in them, and even looked up every dress I wanted in a different color. I had a great experience, and if you go and you are fortunate enough to work with Erika, I can guarantee you’ll have a great experience too!

I took my daughter to McKenzie Jade for prom dress shopping (her first prom) and the treatment was top notch! It was busy but the sale associate greeted us right away. They have a system for the girls to try on dresses that was seamless. I love that this is a local
shop. I highly recommend!

They give you a VIP experience with a down to earth feel...I didnt know what to expect but the bride wanted to see dresses in Concord and we came here. Beautiful photo spots, 1 on 1 attention, celebrity spotings, and Mackenzie knows her product. She came out with the perfect color bridesmaid dress that the bride has been searching city to city and online for. Staff was friendly and her mom even let me buy the pants right off of her (from Jade girl Boutique) when there was no more in stock and I just HAD to have them...within the first few hours, I got many compliments on them as I walked around the mall. From the first moment in walked in Genesis helped me find not only the perfect dress for me, but also my friend. She is not wearing the dress in the pictures, but we had fun! McKenzie was helpful with giving me ideas for bridesmaids dresses on top of being personable and understanding when I started having doubts with my dress.

This time last year I went to MJ's to find my wedding dress! The store was open for only a few months but had an amazing stock of dresses. We arrived early to my appointment so we waited for less than 10 mins at the front- I watched on of the employees unbox a wedding dress. Lone and behold I ended up falling in love with that dress and buying it straight from the rack! Cha-Ching! Ashton was my bridal consultant for the day, loved her, she made it feel so easy and took the stress off!

A month later I booked the "Diamond Suite" to try it on before taking it home! Lets just say the "Diamond Suite" is SOOO WORTH THE MONEY!! It is literally the fairy tale, drinking mimosas and eating fancy snacks while finding the dream dress!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

-Even here lately, I booked the Diamond Suite again to let my bridesmaids have the VIP experience to look for bridesmaid dresses! Everyone was in love with the shop, dresses and the amazing employees! The customer service is phenomenal!!
