This place fantastic. Great coffee and drinks! And the beer list is always amazing. They get some really good stuff there. Love how you can get small pours too for when you want to order a barrel aged stout at 11:00 am. Lastly, the atmosphere is awesome for getting work done, chatting with friends or playing games. Oh and trivia on a Saturday night? Yes sir!

Stopped in for coffee + treats to go, first time there. Really nice cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. Enjoyed the Level 5 donuts (which should be called Level 10 because they were so good!).

Good vibe, set up as both a taproom and coffeeshop great for folks that want to get work done - ample access to seating and outlets. Known for its "cold brew flight" of flavored cold brews.

Love this addition to the neighborhood. Beautiful space whether you’re looking to sit at a table or booth to get some work done or socialize in their lounge seating or at the bar. The cold brew is great and it’s fun to try the different flavors as they rotate in. Vanilla latte is a solid choice here, too! I love that I can come here for coffee and my partner can join for a beer. Best of both worlds!

Forward Craft & Coffee is my preferred spot for work and meetings, thanks to its excellent beer and coffee selection and consistently friendly staff. The place is well-managed, creating a perfect setting for both productivity and relaxation.

This has been my favorite coffee cafe find so far! The drinks are wonderful, the staff is friendly, and the environment is chill and the hours are reasonable!

Their coffee js great. Not too sweet or to bitter . Also, the staff are super friendly. It's spacious to just take your laptop and work here

I am so appreciative of this space. For the last few weeks I've began studying for my PE exam. If I'm not working, I'm studying. The only thing that's been keeping me motivated to study after work is the atmosphere, good vibes, and hours of operation at Forward. I'm also a bit of a cappuccino snob and Forward has one of the best, if not the best cappuccino I've had in Madison. When I'm done with my exam I hope to be able to join in on the hosted DnD nights! I do with they had some keto friendly snacks but I can't really fault them for my quirky diet decisions.

Do you like coffee? Not like coffee? Do you like beer? Not like beer? Either way, you should be here. Leah and Rachel put on the greatest show as they work together to bring you whatever you choose to drink. Well worth the stop in!

Very nice place to get coffee and some work done - WiFi is not the fastest but gets the job done. It was busy but not very loud, they had a variety of teas and coffees - baked goods looked good, though we didn’t order any. Ended up getting a coffee flight (very tasty!) and an iced hibiscus tea. Would definitely return!

We had a baby shower here in the event space. The staff at the time (l don't know their names) we're exceptional. Very friendly and very good at their craft. Coffee making and such. I'd come back here just for hospitality with pleasure.

I think like a lot of people I've been waiting for a local spot that would be awesome to dip into in the morning or evening, and Forward finally was the one to deliver. I came in a few days ago and was pleasantly assailed by Rachel saying (more or less) "you should get the granola. I made it and it's gluten free and vegan." It was delicious. Pair that up with their really excellent cold brew flight and that is a great way to start the day. It seems like they go through some of their more elaborate cold brew flavors quickly, so I'm kind of excited to see what rotates through next week. I got the chance to chat with Dan, one of the co owners for a while too. He was kind enough to let me talk his ear off about revolution, because this coffee destination is a great beer destination. They have both ryeway to heaven and black gold on tap! I'm drinking the BG right now and it is just as absurd as you think. This place and it's team really wants to do this right, and I think they are off to a great start. Local coffee, fun recipes, a very heavy hitting tap list. The corner location is awesome too. You can tell this is going to be a go to for east siders. Check them out.

Great and chill place! So glad we have a coffee shop again in this location. My kids loved their violet lemonade and blueberry muffins and I really enjoyed my nitro cold brew with oat milk. We played a game that was on hand while having our goodies next to the open door. I’ll definitely be back!

Quieter than a library at noon. Appears to be a standard Madison coffee shop, but the nitro and late hours make it stand out. Pay attention to the merch; yeah there's a lot of it, but it plays into the neighborhood rather than it's own branding. The bar is black to hide leg scuffs and has little coat hooks underneath. Someone is paying very close attention to their business (maybe a little too close, less cameras please!) and what people actually respond to. I look Forward to watching more of these open up.

Good coffee. Friendly bartistas. Good beer selection. Great seating options, many with power options for your laptop. And if you want more than the limited food options the offer, you're welcomed to bring your own or have it delivered.

I love it here! Cozy aesthetic. Super friendly bar tenders/baristas. When I had first moved to Madison this was one of the first places I went were people engaged with me and talked to me about the city so the customer base is super chill and friendly as well. Great rotating tap selection and well made coffee beverages.

Great Mocha! Friendly, Professional, and Fast staff! They have a D&D night Thursdays at 6pm! So cool!
