As a single parent and never played strings I an definitely in much need of guidance and the folks here at Atlanta Violins were so patient and answered all my questions. They sponsor my sons orchestra and we are so grateful we went there for our very first upgrade violin.

We as a family have gotten several instruments here and every time it has been a relatively easy process (the hard part is trying to figure out which instrument is your favorite) You can do payments, you can rent, and you can get all kinds of information from the staff.

I came here a few weeks ago pretty confused and stressed about what I was going to do with my violin I’ve had since I was a child. It’s not a particularly valuable violin, but it is valuable to me, as it was a gift. It was so broken.

I was taken care of in less than a week, new strings, bridge, and a tune up, and at a really reasonable price. Even got me a new bow and advised me on what to do for a violin that doesn’t cost that much.

I’m glad to be spoken to in a respectful manner and just taken care of by the owner. They earned my business for life.

We have been going to Atlanta Violins for at least ten years and they always provide excellent customer service for renting, buying, and shipping instruments. They take care of everything.

Great service and instruments. My daughter rented a violin for three years. She ended up not wanting to play anymore, so we returned it, but the reasonable rental prices would have been applied to a purchase had we wanted to keep the instrument.

Andrew was awesome. We arrived close to store closing, but he let us try out some viola bows in the store and take the top 2 to try at home.

Very helpful and friendly place and of course well stocked. I purchased first cello for my son had a choice of few dozen cello's. We had an appointment set Megan spent May be 2 hours with us we tried at least 7 cellos to settle own one! We got to take the cello for approval for a week and to make final decision, portion of rental credit was applied at the purchase.

I did not buy a hard case in the store I thought they were little pricey for the selection that was available. Overall the purchase experience was excellent! I will recommend this place to any one interested in servicing or buying violin family instruments!

My partner and I have been bringing our instruments and bows here for years for routine maintenance & repairs. We are now renting a viola for my daughter who just began her musical journey. Their staff is kind, welcoming, knowledgeable, and do very professional work. They found an old repair mistake made by another violin shop and my violin is even better than before. Highly recommended!

I have an old violin which was in bad shape. Matt did a great job in fixing it and provide excellent services with the best price. Fully recommend this shop to anyone who needs violin or get violin repaired.

I bought a violin with some bad damage to the varnish (imagine a violin that's been wiped with a Clorox wipe). After reading some reviews that referred to Matt and how awesome he is with varnish, I took a chance. I was blown away by his work. The violin looks brand new now, he brought out a beauty in the wood that I didn’t know was going to be there. I practice more now just because the instrument is so beautiful, and I enjoy looking at it. He also adjusted the sound post and added my new strings, and he gave me some advice on the different rosin types. He replaced the tacky fret markers that I put on my fingerboard with some cool looking, thin, silvery tape. The staff was all very nice and accommodating. The shop had a large selection of instruments. My only regret is that I didn’t buy some geared pegs while I was there, but I’ll be back. I would recommend this place to anyone.

This place is amazing. I am renting violin for past 4 years for my son. Anytime, we had any issue or he graduated to next size, they accommodated us quickly. 5 star for customer service and quality of product.

The music is sound of GOD and good for whom are cause to hear this sound.

My wife and I have been patrons of this shop for years and have always had excellent service. Matt and his repair team do exceptional repair work, and are very kind and helpful. My wife is a violin instructor of 13 years and always recommends her students go here for violin purchases, rentals, and repairs. I would highly recommend this shop for your violin/orchestra instrument needs.

Atlanta Violins was amazing! Of all of the locations I called, they were the only ones that picked up the phone, asked our price range, and agreed to make an appointment for us (despite our limited funds). With back to school being the busiest time of year, I can not emphasize enough how much this was appreciated. My family traveled 4 hours to Atlanta to shop for a violin. Having these accommodations made available was exceptional customer service!

Martha was wonderful! She spent an hour with our daughter selecting the best violin for her within our price range. Martha pointed out the elements of each violin, pros and cons, without nudging our daughter towards her own preferences. This allowed our daughter to assess and weigh each instrument for herself. We purchased a violin that we are supremely pleased with and will definitely be back!

I love the cello I found at Atlanta violins. They had a good selection to choose from and were very easy to work with. They are worth your time.
