Rush rooftop restaurant

New to the New Ulm area, and loving it, we do miss home and all the Minneapolis eateries. Last night we ate at Rush. The service was not the best, we thought maybe our waitress was new so we gave her a break, but the rooftop patio was beautiful. The food we had was delicious and very fairly priced. We loved it and will be back. The best part, because we have been missing Minneapolis, we felt like we were home. Thank you Rush!

We had our first visit to Rush tonight and were so pleased with the food and service. We brought our own bottles of wine and the corkage fee was reasonable. The atmosphere is very unique and enjoyable.

Fantastic server, she was so kind and patient with us. We had the cheese stuffed focaccia, the marinara sauce was fabulous! Highly recommend the pesto pasta. Everything was so fresh and delicious. Plus locally sourced ingredients. Will definitely be back!

Rush is a great spot to feel like you're somewhere else! The tapas style is definitely meant for socializing and sampling foods within a group and the weekly specials are a great way to visit often and still have something new to try.

I am a huge fan of Rush. It has a great atmosphere, especially when it's warm enough to be on the rooftop patio. There are lots of drink options, and I enjoy the changing menu. I've had lots of tasty food here, but I need to shout out the muffuletta, house focaccia bread, stuffed portobello mushroom caps, and hangover soup. Hope this place does well and sticks around!

The food was so good! I'm not a flat- bread person, but I am now! Our table shared several menu items, and the stuffed olives were another hit! Our server was GREAT!

We were seated outside, and the tables were extremely wobbly, which became a big distraction even though we tried to stuff napkins under the feet, it became apparent that would not solve the poor construction of the tables. Growing pains of a new business that I'm sure will be addressed in time.

Had the Sunday morning brunch out on the rooftop patio, Excellent service and food and views, This is a great addition to the New Ulm Restaurants, will be back to try their afternoon evening fare, I know it will be great.

Love the food and drinks. Cant wait for outdoor dining next summer.

Good food, attentive service (even as staff busy with a different large group) and the atmosphere is a metro vibe.

Was so looking forward to going to Rush for the first time! Had a personal pizza. It was all very thick bread with just a little cheese and basil on top. The cranberry walnut salad was good. Please cut the tomatoes before serving (the juice of one spirted out all over my top), offer a thin pizza crust and add more toppings. Had a lovely time though because of the people we were with. If I go back, will definitely try something other than the pizza.

The place is very nice, great decor and nice atmosphere. The food was good but my daughter’s food came first and she was done eating by the time my food came. I thought it was a bit overpriced. I had a pizza and the meat and cheese was very minimal on it. My daughter had a sandwich and it it was ONLY the sandwich for the price. Probably would not go back.

Food was mediocre and uninspired. Service was ok. Atmosphere was really nice. Would only go back for a cocktail on the rooftop patio but will never eat there again.

Two of us ordered. 1 got their food 15 minutes before the other. The food that came last was undercooked. The server never checked on us during the meal and after clearing the table didn't bring the check for another 15 minutes. We had to find the server to pay.

We went 30 min after they opened and were one of the only tables. Just didn't seem like a guest, more of an inconvenience. But the patio was nice. I'm sure it's a fun place for a drink with friends. If that's what your looking for.
