With our wedding coming up, my husband and I decided to go here and are thrilled that we did. My dress length was adjusted and the back was tightened, but when I tried it on again I realized my straps were too large. She happily fixed it by the next day. My husband later on had the length of his pants and shoulders of his suit adjusted. Busy Bee worked within our timeline, listened to what we wanted, had a friendly attitude, and was very affordable. I highly recommend them and could not be happier with our wedding attire

I did a lot of research on seamstresses in the area and ultimately chose to take my wedding dress here, after reading several reviews. My dress was great, but needed some major work in the bust area. Couldn‘t have picked a better place! The work was stellar and completed at a great price. My wedding dress came out looking like it was made exactly for me! Best money I have spent on my wedding so far! I will continue to use Busy Bee for all my future alterations!

This place is a life saver!! I ordered a bridesmaid dress and it came in 1 week for the wedding and it did not fit- like not even close 😬 i was in a panic and found about about Busy Bees and they were able to see me day of and fix my dress before the wedding! I had an emergency alteration (came to Iowa for a wedding and forgot to hem my bridesmaid dress) and Busy Bee not only accepted my dress but did it in less than 24 hrs! They also took on another dress that fit me too big and also finished it in less than 24 hrs. Beyond grateful for not only their professionalism but their customer service as well. I ordered my wedding dress from an online shop and it did not fit well at all initially. I was panicking thinking I'd need to buy another dress entirely, but instead I took the dress to Busy Bee Tailor. She completely transformed the bottom of the dress so it flowed nicely to the floor. She also did an amazing job fixing the bodice by raising the neckline, adding cups, taking it in, and so much more so I would feel comfortable and not over-exposed on my wedding day. She even created a custom COVID mask with flowers and lace which matches the dress exactly! I was completely blown away by her skill and customer service. It was also extremely affordable. I would highly recommend Busy Bee Tailor for anyone needing alterations of any kind.

Wonderful place for wedding dress alterations! I came here to have my wedding dress altered back in December (2017), and I'm so glad I did. She did an amazing job bringing in a lace bolero that I paired with a strapless chiffon dress. It didn't have seams to start with, and even though it did once she was done (it was unavoidable), it still looked like a seamless piece of lace! The altered hemline was so well done, it looked as if it came that way. Overall timeframe was good. I dropped the dress off the same day I called, and it was ready within a few weeks. Also, the cost was less than we were expecting, so that was a definite bonus. I got so many compliments on my dress and can only think I have Busy Bee Tailor to thank for helping my dress turn out so well. Highly recommend!

I needed to get a bridesmaid dress altered. I was in and out in less than ten minutes when I dropped off the dress and when I picked it up. She does great work and it took less than two weeks to finish the dress, even though I wasn't in a rush. I got a new zipper in pair of jeans as well. She's VERY reasonably priced. I've paid a lot more to get dresses altered. I would recommend her to anyone.

I just picked up my wedding dress from Busy Bee. It's a very intricate lace dress and the alterations were done beautifully! She added a bustle that is draped perfectly and very well hidden in the lace detail. She was patient and showed me several times how to bustle the dress so that I can explain it to my MOH. On top of all that, that price was very reasonable! I will use Busy Bee again!

I have taken my clothes to Busy Bee since they opened. Sometimes, I just take in a big bag of items and say, "Please make these fit me!" They always do -- even the most intricate items. Amazing, friendly, affordable and knowledgeable... I would recommend Busy Bee highly!
