A great spot to chill and grab a relaxing drink. Health tea to fuel the body for a relaxing afternoon or a much needed decompression for the evening. Tasty healthy and vitalizing for the self. The staff was very helpful and understanding of how to cater to your needs and fulfillment. Great spot to hang with some friends or yourself. Experience everything and check this place out.

Everyone at Root of Happiness contributes to the cozy, uplifting and entertaining atmosphere here. The exceptional staff headed by Lauren do a great job of making their regulars and curious newcomers feel welcome throughout the day.

The drink menu here is very customizable, there is no shortage of unique combinations one could find here!

The Kava bar hosts a variety of events that that are highly community driven, they managed to consistently provide these activities while also continuing to be a great study/meeting spot on any given day of the week.

My friend took me here while I was in town and it was a pretty wild experience. I had whatever was recommended which I think was called the Cloud Breaker, but whatever it was it was pretty fun. After that, I had a Mixed Kava drink with juice which was better tasting. It was a really cool vibe and very comfortable to hang out and get some work done or just hang out with some friends. The Kava-tenders were very helpful and answered all my questions. Pretty cool experience.

Everyone is super nice, and very chill. Atmosphere is just amazing with all the lights and everything. Love this spot.

I enjoy coming to the kava bar primarily because of the ambiance. The Kavatenders do an outstanding job at engaging with customers appropriately and providing great service. I know what to expect when I come to hangout. That consistency is something I appreciate when I’m looking for a place to chill at. For those looking to attend different events, the kava bar hosts a variety of events pretty often that engage the community. I above all appreciate the community I’ve found at the Kava bar. If you’re looking for a new experience I would recommend checking them out and giving them a shot. You may find your new favorite place to hangout at every so often!!

Really cool theme-driven place! I’ve been to three previous kava places and I always seem to find really kind knowledgeable staff and fantastic help with recommendations! I apparently went during happy hour and chose a coconut pineapple infusion that was so smooth and earthy and made my bike ride quite enjoyable! Lol

It’s a great opportunity to try a traditional ceremonial drink from the Pacific region. Yes, it tastes like a root…cuz it’s supposed to!

(Legend, has it that the First Peoples discovered kava’s photochemical properties by observing the behavior of spaced out, loopy rodents 🐀clustered around the kava vine’s base, having gnawed on the root.)

We did ours with a “chaser “a pieces of watermelon on a stick, because we didn’t want to dilute our mask Original flavor.

An amazing place that I frequent whenever I want to take a break from the outside world, study and relax 10/10 would recommend!!!

I absolutely love this place... great atmosphere, super friendly service, great music and even better kava. The cloud breaker with a bit of paste is my favorite!

Bar staff super friendly and helpful with choosing which drink to get for your first go around. I got a fruit chaser with my kava. It was definitely an experience everyone should try at least once. Inside atmosphere is just so chill and mellow. Great place to relax and chill out. A bit dark on the upper floor, so if you need to do some work, maybe do it on the first floor.

Great place, I love seeing this cafes opening up around the country. Great atmosphere, lots of fun stuff to look at. Their powdered Kratom is twice as expensive of every other cafe I’ve been to… which is unfortunate. But it is quality

Favorite Kava Bar to go to for when I want to hangout with friends and catch up or just to kill time on a weekend. The vibe of the place is immaculate as everyone is very friendly and easygoing. The live music played there is also another plus as it allows you to really get down and dance or just vibe to the music.

Very pretty inside and probably the least gross kava I've ever had! Had fun hanging around in the various seating areas and playing jenga!

While they don't serve food they do bring us culture though their finest kava from the Caribbean Islands. I found that kava brings people together as it sparks conversation. Especially in the atmosphere they provide. I've made a lot of friends there. Good quality people all around. I recommend it to everyone I happen to talk to about kava. Order the Cloud breaker. It's the strongest drink they have. This will show you exactly what kava does!
