Kababayan Filipino Kitchen

Wow! This was by far the best Filipino food I’ve ever eaten. And the people who work here are so friendly and nice. You can get a giant plate of delicious food for under $15, and there are a lot of things that are way cheaper. I cannot think of a place with better value or flavor in the area. You won’t regret it!

I had the pleasure of trying Kababayan delicious Filipino food for the first time, and it was an incredible experience! Tet was extremely friendly and answered all of my questions with a smile. Her service was excellent, and she made me feel right at home.

The food itself was outstanding. Each dish was bursting with flavor, and the portions were very generous. I especially loved Lechon and the Halo Halo dessert. It was clear that a lot of care and attention went into preparing the food.

Overall, I highly recommend Kababayan Filipino food. If you're looking for delicious, flavorful food and excellent service, look no further!

Probably the best authentic Filipino restaurant I’ve ever been to. The food is amazing. Sometime they even have Isaw!

Had to get catering for a large baby shower. John was responsive and helped me figure out how much food I needed for the party. Great food and easy to coordinate. They also gave us condiments! Everyone thought all the dishes were delicious! Would order from them again.

Classic cafeteria style Filipino cuisine. Good food at an affordable price. You can choose your carb preference between rice or pancit (noodles). You can also ask for half and half.

Among the dishes we tried I recommend the following: Lechon Kawali (deep fried pork w/ skin and fat), chicken curry, binagoongan (pork cooked in shrimp paste), and adobo. Make sure to get an order of the turon (fried spring roll wrapped bananas coated in caramelized sugar).

Where do I start. Everything that I tried was really good. I got the noodle combo with crispy pork and bbq pork with a turon. The ladies serving food were friendly and busy. The pork entrees were 🔥🔥🔥 and I would get both of them again. The noodles were good, and the Turon was amazing. I will be back manyyyyyy times 👍

Great customer service. I can always rely on Kababayan whenever I get busy to cook. I just ordered over the phone a small pan of Chicken Pancit Bihon for my son’s school event potluck. My son said it was gone, his schoolmates loved it. Not only Kababayan serves delicious meal, they’re generous with their servings. This is our go-to place whenever we crave for Filipino comfort foods. Reminds you of your mom’s delicious foods.

Best halo halo I had overseas!!! And generous serving..a bit pricey but the food was good. Wish they had more in their menu though.

This is a nice restaurant with ambience. We were immediately greeted by staff and she showed what the dishes are. The seating area was nice and clean. We had the crispy pork, bbq chicken, lumpia, pancit, and chicken adobo. Everything was delicious! The ube crinkle cookies are sooo good!

Our family had a delicious lunch - we all tried different dishes and everything was fantastic! We’ll definitely be back!

We are thankful for this place. We ordered food from them and celebrated our child’s birthday party there on the same day. They are very accommodating and our event was a success. Thank you for the positive experience with your great customer service.

Yummy delicious food! The new location is very nice and not as small as the old place. Every time I go here the staff is super friendly and helpful . The food is so tasty, I’m not sure what the type of meals I get are called I just know its pork. They have plenty of options you can choose from too. Service can be extremely slow so if you’re hungry be prepared to wait because the lines get pretty long and there’s usually one person fixing plates.

First thing I wanted to point out was how nice the service was. I am not too familiar with Filipino food but the staff did a good job of explaining each dish. We got a variety of things such as the Lumpia, Lechon, Pork Adobo, and the noodles. Noodles were nicely spiced, not what I was expecting. Lechon was not the most tender but still very crispy and enjoyable. The Pork Adobo was tender and nicely flavored and I liked the Lumpia. Would definitely come back if I was in the area

Visited a place yesterday in spotslyvania and the Filipino food didn’t compare to the quality you get at this place in Woodbridge. And our meal didn’t come close to $50 for two like it did at the one in spotslyvania. This place is very good. You get a lot for your money too. Staff is overly friendly and the beautiful owner is always very pleasant. We will be back!
