The Dress Code

Always find something unique and special at this shop. I stop in frequently and the owner is lovely and fun. My friend and I have a standing annual date when I’m up in Gloucester in June, to stop in the The Dress Code and shop for something that catches our eye. As far as bringing consignment clothes in to offer, it’s an organized system, reasonable reimbursement and as long as your clothes are well presented on hangers and clean, they’ll entertain quite a few items, unlike other shops I’ve experienced ~who flip through your stuff with an attitude-like they’re doing you a favor. This owner knows it’s her business model. Treat people with respect ~ and they’ll respect you. Love the Dress Code.

I always love stopping in this little shop during my annual visit to Rockport. Each year I've gone I've manage to find a fantastic piece for a nice price. The ladies working have always been super friendly and are happy to help accessorize. I will keep coming back for sure!

After 1 minute of standing still and simply eyeing the color coded racks of vintage, one of a kind, Janis Joplin vibein', bell bottom struttin, breezy, fabulousness- which is also me- I was like "Hello Ladies, I have arrived!"

I always find the coolest clothes and shoes here, plus there’s a great selection of housewares and art. Such a great vibe, lovely staff.
