Heavy Onda Salads

When I tell y’all this place is amazing! It lives up to the name!!! I tried the salmon and crab meat salad, lord it was the best salad I ever had in my life. One platter is enough for 2 people. My coworkers and I are now obsessed with this place. The prices match the food! Absolutely amazing 10 out of 10

WHEN I SAY THIS IS THE BEST SALAD PLACE IN NEWARK I MEAN IT. The salad was loaded, everything was fresh and delicious. The salmon was a bit overcooked but it was still doable. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

I ordered from this business on Uber eats and the service was phenomenal. I love an establishment that goes above and beyond they personally called me because they were out of tuna and offered me a substitute of my choice I found that so amazing because if you order from Uber eats on the regular you know some of these places do not care they will give the driver whatever. The salad was also very delicious and huge!!! I saw a lot of comments about the prices and I just want to say it is very well worth it I couldnt even finish the salad it can definitely go for a shareable. Thank you so much heavy onda salads!!!

This has been my go to spot for like the last 6 months and I will eat here for the rest of my life😩😍. It doesn’t matter if you order an hour in advance or if you’re only 2 minutes away…. The food will be hot and ready okay!! Tastes amazing and they have the best customer service.

The jerk chicken salad was amazing, I highly recommend! the chicken was seasoned and juicy the vegetables and lettuce were crunchy n fresh also had avocado. I normally don’t write reviews but this salad hit the spot so hard I had to share!

I was walking around the ironbound and came upon this place. The employees were very friendly and helpful. I ordered a chicken Caesar wrap it was very good and fresh and the portion size was very good. I would go back again

Jerk chicken salad was a 10/10 I have it with the house made jerk ranch sauce!
The pineapple lemonade was perfect also!

Was looking for a salad place near home and stumbled across Heavy Onda Salads and fell in love all over again. The chicken is moist and seasoned perfectly. I added a lot of extras but it's well worth it. Thank you Heavy Onda Salads. I will be ordering at least once a week.

Heavy Onda Salads has the best and variety of salads in Newark hands down! I ordered the salmon salad and it was amazing. The salmon was fresh and tasty, the vegetables were crisp, and that special dressing they have is beyond amazing. Their portions are huge and you will not be able to eat the entire meal I flushed everything down with their very own pineapple mint juice. Try this place you will not be disappointed!

Just tried this place for the first time today. I had the jerk chicken wrap and a pineapple mint juice. The wraps are HUGE and tasty and the customer service was excellent. The chef told me he made it with love and I believe him. If you don't like spicy, then try a different wrap other than the jerk chicken. I will definitely be back. The pineapple mint juice was very refreshing and the wrap was so big, I had to save the rest for later LOL. Well worth the price.

Literally best salad ever. The amount matches the price perfectly. Staff were nice and helpful as it was my first time ordering from them. I wish I took a pic of the salad. Like omg good. They have a forever customer !
