Enjoyed a lovely dinner here with coworkers! Parking in downtown Mt View is kinda nuts but the garage is close so def park there. Bread is fresh and a plenty! We had the bouillabaisse, beef and mash, pizza, ravioli and all was amazing. Service was also super friendly and a great overall atmosphere!

Dinner with coworkers in the outdoor seating area! Really liked the pistachio crusted goat cheese appetizer! Caprese was decent. Mushroom truffle ravioli in the pasta section was another great dish that didn't disappoint. Tiramisu in the dessert section is an all time favorite of mine. Friendly staff and quick service!

Gourmet food, reasonable prices. Choosing a meal is the hardest part. Grilled squid yum, not fishy at all, more steak-like. Good portions, we were both full and happy. Cordon blue was tastey, mashed potatoes creamy. Braised short rib no knife needed, fell apart with a fork. Polenta was a nice accompaniment.

Wow, open on Thanksgiving. Look like the owners were doing everything, so their employees could have the day off. They were so delightful, an excellent way to mingle with the customers. Everyone looked so happy there. Compliments to the Chef on great food. Next time I will try the Duke Wellington.

Amazing place. Five starts on all fronts. Good beer, good appetizers, great food. Came here for a company dinner. I had the halibut special.

I had a great time here! Food was delicious. Service was outstanding! We enjoyed the Chicken Paillard, Burgundy Braised Short Ribs, and Lava Cake.

My guests included people who tried French -Italian cuisine for the first time. They were extremely satisfied with the food. The tastes were not overpowering. Each dish had a unique flavor!

I enjoyed the complementary bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Wish the bread was served hot!

In the appetizers, crab cakes were delicious!
In the main course, I would highly recommend trying the mushroom ravioli.

I will definitely visit this place again!

Making a reservation through OpenTable is super simple and the hostess was very welcoming. Opted to sit at the bar and the bartender whipped up an old fashioned that packed a punch and a very dirty martini (per request) that was very smooth.

Ordered a Bruschetta con Burrata and a Pistachio Crusted Goat Cheese for appetizers, a Mushroom Truffle Ravioli for entree and wrapped up the evening with Exotic Bomba (Mango, Passionfruit, & Raspberry sorbetto covered in white chocolate). Every single item was delicious.

To sum it up - super friendly & welcoming staff, delicious drinks & food, and a comfy atmosphere.

Had a great time here yesterday. Service was exemplary, and the mushroom truffle ravioli and cream of broccoli soup were fantastic. The pistachio crusted goat cheese and calabrese were also quite tasty.

I don't visit Italian restaurants a lot but this place is great. The patio dine in is well maintained and the ambiance is beautiful. The hosts are super gracious. The food was fantastic and mouth watering. I am a person who is not into wines and the host was patient to explain which would be better and what taste would it give. There was no delay in serving the food and the plating of the food is excellent. Overall, awesome place to visit and to keep the taste buds happy!

Had a wonderful date night at this place. This place is perfect combination of food, privacy, coziness, ambiance and service. The waiters are so attentive and the manager is very kind and accommodating. Definitely recommended and will be coming back for sure.

We hosted a dinner party here. The place is nice and cosy. Not too big though.
The food is great! Loved almost all the items that I tried.
The mushroom ravioli is a must try! And the gnocchi as well. Super creamy and everyone enjoyed it.
The wine menu has some good options to choose from.
The service is prompt and we had no complaints.

What a wonderful place! We were in town for my son's PhD defense, but hadn't been able to find a place for our celebratory dinner in Palo Alto. Since La Fontaine in Mountain View was able to accommodate our large party on short notice, we took a chance on it. ..and are we glad we did! Excellent service and personal attention from the manager and delicious food. Who needs the crowds and long waits in PA when La Fontaine is just a short drive away?!

Its a nice restaurant. We went there for our anniversary lunch. First I booked dinner for previous night but they didn’t have enough reservation so they gave me a call and asked if I can come early. I requested them to reschedule to for next day lunch which they did. They did not have chicken cordon bleu for lunch but on my request they made it. They also made nice non-alcoholic beverage for my kids. Food was great and staff was nice.

Indoor/ outdoor (partly enclosed for warmth) space very well laid out. French cuisine without the traditional heavy sauces. Enough seasoning to enhance but not overwhelm. Overall the dining experience was a pleasure.

Mushroom cream soup had lovely full mushroom flavor & mouth feel: not heavily creamed. Beet arugula salad was crisp & fresh (after requesting balsamic + oil to moisten). Smoked salmon resoto incorporated sundried tomatoes & broccoli, and offered a subtle, well rounded taste experience. Duck breast in cranberry sauce w wild rice was another winner; the skin was charred and peppered. The cranberry sauce was great, but a bit more savory and pepper would have gone a long way to rounding out the flavor. Duck itself was exactly done: the main part (except the end bit which was too well done) tender and juicy. I did not eat the skin as it had a layer of fat (it's an American duck folks) attached - fed it to our dog, who really appreciated it 🙂 Dessert of lava cake & chocolate gelato delivered full-on chocolate without being too sweet. Perfect.

Service was friendly, but waitress forgot to ask the manager to turn on the heat lamp as requested until late in our meal. We appreciated the spirited conversation between her and our next table re Turkey (where she's from).

I've only tried the steak frites here but thought it was excellent! I highly recommend it. The food came out in a timely manner despite being busy with customers on a Friday night. The dish is perfect for sharing and I would ask for more sauce to dip the fries in. Service is prompt and the ambiance is warm yet bustling. Food was delicious and well priced! I have the cordon blue chicken which is a chicken breast breaded and stuffed with cheese and ham. On the side was mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables. It was all sooo scrumptious! My gf had mushroom truffle a ravioli which was hand made ravioli in a creamy pesto and a rich truffle flavor! For dessert we had the sweet and moist tiramisu. This place is a must have in downtown Mountain View!

Gnocchi is the must try if you’re visiting for the first time. Loved the house made Chianti and Zinfandel. Tiramisu was super delicious. Don’t forget to reserve a table in advance if you want to enjoy the patio dining experience.

Went here tonight for the first time. The food was excellent. Got the crab cake appetizer - great starter. Dinner was the Cordon Bleu - perfectly cooked - topped with an absolutely delicious cream sauce. I highly recommend this restaurant.

It was a very cozy restaurant, capacity of 92 inside dinning but right now seating I'll say 35-40 max. There were about 7 tables when we were there on a Saturday night November 7 2020 at 7pm of mostly 2 & 3 with one table of 4.
I had the Branzino ( European bass ), the honey had lamb chops. We started with a shared Burrata and Prosciutto appertiser, finished with Creme Brulee and Tiramisu. We loved everything we had, I'll give it a solid A. We'll definitely return again to try other offerings.
