El Rodeo

Not many Mexican places in Maine are very good. This is my first time here and I have to say, it was pretty dang good. Right from the chips and salsa to the very last bite. If your into street tacos then this is one place your going to want to try. The food has plenty of flavor and just what you would expect or more. The prices are very good and the portions are very well. I plant to visit the other locations but from what I hear they are all great places.

First time dining tonight, and it was phenomenal. Plenty of chips on the table, server was excellent and fast, food came out in minutes from ordering! The atmosphere was clean and the staff was so kind. The chimichangas we ordered were perfectly crispy and they accommodated change of sides! They even make guacamole in front of you. I am so impressed and will be back.

We love to visit El Rodeo when we are in the Portland area. They have killer burritos(the Burro Grande is the best!). The birria tacos are delicious, too. The service is always fantastic and the environment is lively. We love having dinner here! A+++++++

This place is really great. For starters they give complimentary tortilla chips and salsa which they refill once over. Ordered special dinner, shrimp taco and fresh guacamole. The shrimp taco was really good and fresh. For the guac, they made it in front of us on the cart, they put three fresh Avocados with lime, cilantro and other asked for ingredients and served it in the earthen bowl. That was one of the best gauc I have had so far. The dinner plate was average in taste, the quantity is more than enough for two people.

Amazing mexican food! I’m from NYC, and have had really good mexican food/birria tacos and this place lived up to the hype. The cheese dip was also amazing!! My only complaint was that there should have been more chips for the amount of cheese + the salsa. But it was still delicious and fresh. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and would definitely order again when I’m in the area.

The restaurant atmosphere was wonderful. The drinks were good and the food was hot. The waiter had so many clients so we had to wait a little longer to get his attention but overall we had a good experience.

My first time eating here was in Brunswick when they first opened and most of my food tasted like soap/dish liquid. So I never ate there again until recently and I absolutely love it! Food was amazing, The portions are large, And your food comes out really fast!

We ordered supreme nachos. They had a little bit of shredded chicken, refried beans and ground meat with a little cheese on top and then a pile of lettuce on top of it all. Worst nachos ever. I will not go back. I used to like the food.

El Rodeo is a fantastic authentic Mexican food experience! The food was cooked to perfection and brought to us in a quick and timely manner even while being fairly busy. The staff was polite, curtious, attentive. Very reasonable prices for the quality of the food. I highly recommend trying El Rodeo!

Try the Fajitas Texas is all I can say, maybe a cup of hot queso with the free chips! Mary and her smile when you walk in is inviting even after just coming back for a second visit she seems to remember her customers. You will find the food to taste even better than it looks, and it looks great!

Food was DELICIOUS! It was so flavorful and so satisfied my craving. Our waitress wasn't very tentative and seemed "irratated" when she asked how our food was and I asked for napkins (usually goes hand in hand with nachos supreme) she huffed and walked away figured to get napkins and never came back again except to give us bill..

Good food, good drinks, and good people make for a good experience and that is exactly how it is each time visited. Service in the bar area is always good, the drinks always cold, and the food fresh and delicious.

Mexican food is one of my favorite foods. Finding good Mexican food in Maine has been no easy task, until now. El Rodeo has excellent, good tasting Mexican food. The portions are generous, served hot and nicely presented. The service is excellent. All things considered, El Rodeo has become my favorite Mexican restaurant while earning my strongest five-star rating.

Great Mexican food. I had the soft tacos and they were really good. Sat at the bar had some laughs. Was a really good atmosphere and service was great. Well definitely be back!

El Rodeo is hands down the best Mexican food you can get in Maine. I will drive from Lewiston any day to have a meal here! I got the steak carne asada meal and it was so tender and tasty.

Love it, but I am a avid Mexican food lover… a little biased. I enjoy the food and server emwas great.

Simply put in Maine there is no other authentic mexican food. As a Texan I feel I know what mexican should be and this place has it. Simple flavors and layers upon layers of awesome. Needless to say I will be headed back. Rice is correct and not tomato based or taste like campbells soup. Tamales are made with the right meat and masta is bang on. Chili Reno is great and taste great. I have th El Radeo steak and chicken perfect. Tableside Guacamole was amazing and the accommodated my wifes allergy to gluten very well.

Amazing street tacos and jalapeno poppers! Staff is very friendly. I'm from Texas so i know what street tacos should taste like. Will come back when I'm in Maine.

We hired El Rodeo Food truck for our wedding and holy smokes they were outstanding!!! We were so happy with the quality of the food and impressed at how fast it was! Everyone was raving about them! I highly highly recommend hiring them for your wedding!! Thank you guys!
