10/10 5/5 perfect score all the way around. I’m new to the area and was recommended to try evergreen for Chinese. The portions are massive you order a large guess what. You get a large. They don't skimp on the food and you can order to your liking for a little extra. Huge fan of the ability to make things spicy on a 1-10 scale. My go to is the House Special Cantonese Noodles 10 on the spicy scale I could eat it all week. The wonton soup and crab rangoons are to die for. Thank you guys for the amazing food!!!

First time trying Chinese food in Portland Maine. I had the beef and broccoli, pork fried rice and chicken wings. Everything that I had was amazing you could taste the seasonings in the beef and broccoli. This was my first time eating chicken wings with any breading(traditional) but I was surprised on how tasty the wings were. 5/5

Love the Quality!Big fan of Ragoons but remembering they are not Crag Rangoons! Important Distinction! so many good restaurants have closed.. glad here still going strong. Lo Mein noodles with chicken!

After one time of getting take-out from here I am impressed so far and will now order from here more often. Compared to my usual local spot I get takeout from the food taste better quality, service is better, and despite being further away the food stayed warmer longer for when I got home. Online ordering was a quick and easy process and food didn’t take long despite it seeming like they were slammed with orders. Both the Lo Mein and Cantonese Lo Mein were delicious as well as the wonton soup. One of the better takeout spots for the area from what I have tried.

Great, consistent food. Always do carry out so not sure on dine-in experience. Go here every few weeks and love their chicken dishes and teriyaki beef.

My family and I have been eating here since they opened. Always fresh and always tasty. Great value for the money and I've never had a messed order.

We love the food at Evergreen Chinese. If you want excellent pork fried rice and crab rangoon this is the best place to get it. Always pleasant customer service. To top it off the prices are good too. We've been satisfied for years!

We ordered two combination dinners.

General Tso's chicken, fried rice, egg rolls, crab rangoons, boneless pork ribs, chicken fingers, chicken wings, wonton soup, hot and sour soup.

Everything was fantastic.

Whoever the cook for this place is, make sure to never let them go! This place is so delicious, it's equivalent to a restaurant level flavor, definitely not your typical Chinese food take out place.

You can order for take out and there's a place to sit and eat your food without being bothered. Order, enjoy your yummy food, eat, leave. Our daughter is crazy about the egg drop soup, and we loved the hot sour seafood soup. Try the chicken wings, it has a marinated flavor instead of your typical fried wings and hide behind sauce for flavor.

First time take out. And we’ll be back! Easy to order by phone. Friendly staff. Be careful of the large servings.

My favorite place for Chinese food. The owners are great and the food is great. Very fresh food made with high quality ingredients. We are never disappointed when we come here. My daughter loves their crab rangoons. My son loves their vegetable soup. I love their mixed vegetables with chicken and chicken fingers and/or boneless pork. Also, they have the best duck sauce.

Absolutely loved the food! Not from Portland but originally from Lewiston and loved chopsticks! Their food reminded me of them! It was absolutely amazing!

3/25/23 UPDATE - Returned on a regular night. Food was ready exactly when promised. BEST Chinese food in the area.

The food was VERY good but the wait was unreal. Online ordering time estimates were way off. We will be back. It was just a bad night. Who is stupid enough to order Chinese on New Years Eve? Me, apparently!

If you haven't tried this place yet, you got to. Best chinese food I've had in Portland area !

Really enjoyed the house special fried rice. Everything was fresh and made well. Very tasty!

Hot and fresh every time we order. Staff are friendly and very well organized. The food is abundant especially for such an affordable price. Unlike other similar restaurants, their food has delicious flavor in every item and nothing is ever dry or undercooked. We drive over 40 miles to grab takeout from evergreen gladly. Nothing around compares to them.

Always great food. Love it there.
