Creative Catering

Creative Catering knows nothing but scrumptious appetizers, delectable entrees and mouthwatering desserts. Not to mention, the crew is unmatched. They got my had hot food on the table for my guests in fifteen minutes. They were friendly, helpful and effective from the tasting to the very end of the wedding day, when the staff went above and beyond to help politely usher guests out of the venue so we could make our curfew on time.

Lori and her team are pros. They knew what we wanted and they executed. They even provided a private dinner for my husband and I so that we could have what we heard was impossible: actually enjoy our wedding meal and spend some quality 1:1 time together on our special day.

At the tasting, Lori brought out a meal we hadn't even ordered: their melt-in-your-mouth short rib. My dad and my husband tried it and after one bite, they knew we had to have it on the menu. Most of our guests got it, and it was a smash hit. I had their incredible baked haddock with mashed potatoes and green beans almandine -- out of this world.

The signature salad was perfect. Our vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free guests were delighted by their Mediterranean pasta dishes and food allergy guests were accommodated and well fed, as well, from apps to dessert. The bar served up our signature drinks with precision and flair, working in our embossed cocktail napkins and monogramed stirrers.

We are so grateful and the rave reviews from our guests are a testament to professionalism, talent and care of Creative Catering. Picking a caterer can be as stressful as finding a venue. Creative Catering was easy to work with, accessible, and relieved our stresses of planning a meal from 3,000 miles away without the opportunity to visit and have a tasting ahead of time. Lori was attentive to our requests and understanding about our Italian family’s needs to have more food than the average wedding! Thank you for pairing back the numbers discreetly 😉. We had specific linen requests, and they were able to liaise with their vendor to find what would work well based on our requests. The servers were attentive, and professional, and the set-up team quick and on the mark, particularly since the chairs did not get setup prior by another vendor as they were supposed to. Lori and her team made the wedding special, and everyone at the reception really enjoyed the appetizers and meal (Italians will not lie about liking food 😉). The catering team also made sure that we had a plate of appetizers to enjoy post-ceremony before joining the party. That was VERY much appreciated, and allowed us to enjoy the party rather than focus on our stomachs. We would definitely recommend Creative Catering for your special event!

Creative Catering provided really good food for our wedding! We were not able to splurge on food for our wedding as we chose to prioritize costs elsewhere, and Creative was able to work with us within our budget to get us some delicious meals. Our only complaint from the night: we had asked that the bar staff walk around during cocktail hour with drinks, and they did not do this, which caused the bar line to get incredibly long. Other than that, they did a great job!

We decided to book Creative Catering for our wedding this past July. We 100% recommend them if you are looking for your wedding caterer! They were SO incredibly helpful with our planning process, not only with our menu selection but with things like the reception table layout, etc. Every time I had a question I received a speedy and helpful response. Also, all of our guests could not stop talking about the food and the service after our wedding! The food was delicious and our guests commented how much they liked the servers and staff as well. I have nothing but great things to say about Creative Catering! Thank you guys so much!

We used Creative Catering for a lunch at my house after a Memorial of Life for my mother. I'm so glad we did. They dropped the food off while we were at the cemetery. It was wonderful to come home to this beautiful food. Especially happy with the salads, chicken quesadillas and chicken satay. Very easy to arrange. Would highly recommend. 🙂

We used creative catering for our wedding and they did an amazing job! We had 150 guests with a Buffett dinner. It was perfect, and plenty of food for guests. Our Italian family loves to eat and there was no shortage of anything. So many of our guests said it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had! For appetizers we did the buffalo chicken tenders, mini grilled cheese with tomato soup, and brie/fig tart (people LOVES the tart)! For the Buffett we had steak tips, chicken cordon blue and baked haddock. The haddock was out of this world! Their staff was very responsive before the wedding and during the wedding. It was a pleasure working with Lori, Ann, Chris and staff. We highly recommend!

I knew when I began planning my wedding that I wanted the food to be one of the major highlights of the big day. Chris, Lori, and the rest of the Creative Catering crew truly made that happen. Despite being thrown plenty of pandemic-related curveballs, including having to postpone by a year, the day went off more spectacularly than I could have imagined. The time and care they put into making sure our day was everything we wanted it to be, the quality of the product they served, and the service they provided was all top notch. I spoke to and worked with Lori the most and she was great about meeting with me, talking to me on the phone, and accommodating us in regards to getting the venue ready.

Now onto the food. I cannot stress enough too how DELICIOUS the food was! We served squash ravioli, beef tenderloin, and stuffed chicken at our event. The ravioli was so good at the sample tasting that it prompted a die-hard meat eater such as myself to choose it as my main (and it did not disappoint more than a year later either). The beef was seasoned to perfection and so tender you could cut it with a fork. The chicken was cheesy, delicious, and everything we wanted it to be.

The care and the service Creative catering provided cannot be understated. I highly recommend considering this company for any and all future events. They really will take care of you and make sure whatever you're putting on is the best it can be. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. Thank you for everything!

We hired Creative catering for my daughter's wedding on 9/10/22. Food was delicious fresh and big portions. From the stuffed chicken to the filet tenderloin and the baked stuffed haddock..and the Italian wedding soup. Served in a timely fashion. I would highly recommend them. Lori was wonderful and patient in setting everything up and creating a timeline for us. Absolutely awesome! She made things easy and simple for us to coordinate and understand, when the two of us had no idea what we were doing. The food was excellent! I just wish I’d eaten more of it! But the night of, some details went wrong that soured me a little. Not huge things, but enough that I’ll remember them. Our cider pour never happened. Thankfully, Lori agreed to refund us for that portion, but we had bought special champagne glasses for that purpose and were pretty disappointed that we didn’t get to partake in that portion of the planned meal. Also, we were never asked where we wanted our cupcake tower. Instead, we were suddenly asked if we wanted them to pass the cupcakes out when they brought them out to the table in front of them. We hadn’t even had our cake yet! Our photographer wouldn’t have even been able to snap a photo of our decorated (expensive) cupcakes, had I not had to say in a loud volume across the large room for them to hold off so our photographer could get photos first. They were already starting to hand out the cupcakes. On the upside, they made sure to do a gluten-free dish specifically for my partner, and we were grateful for that.
