Alaska Robotics Gallery

The worst thing about Alaska Robotics is that it didn’t exist when I was growing up here. Love the new (to me) location, too. And genuinely as good a collection of horror comics as I’ve found in any other shop.

A great selection needs to be had, and that the staff is really friendly. Help me find two games I was referred to overseas which they had and help me understand another game. Great selection of anime, comics, and games.

A magical store full of eye and brain candy. Must visit for anyone who likes unique art, comics, gaming and more.

We stopped in a few board game stores around Juneau and Ketchikan, and the Alaska Robotics Gallery — though small — was easily our favorite. You’re greeted by eclectic music (J-Pop, I think we only heard J-Pop), and are surrounded by graphic novels and art poking fun at local politics and problems, and the center aisle is piled high with a variety of board games: some mainstream, some so obscure that even my husband had to look them up. The shop attendant was friendly and helpful.

Great selection of games & very helpful staff. Worth the stop coming from the cruise ship & found a couple kids games for the at sea days.

This place is the best place. It's responsible for bringing so much character and joy into the community it's almost impossible to believe how tiny it is. If you don't read comics, do read them. If you do read comics, go to Alaska Robotics. On top of comics and "graphic novels" they also sell a lot of artwork made by local artists and are generally just good people to talk to. Drop by. You deserve it.

The kids love it for the comic books and graphic novels, I like the original works of art, and we buy art supplies there too. A true locally owned store that carries music by local musicians.

If you or your kids are graphic novel readers or board game players this store can not be missed! It has a great selection and affordable prices and the staff are always very helpful.

My whole family loves this store. Great place for unique gifts, and artwork. The selection of comic books and books is out of this world.

Pat Race is seriously one of the best Alaskan artists I have come across. Now owning several numbered prints myself; I have begun sharing his artwork as gifts for friends. If you love comics, manga, or quirky art you must stop into a Alaska Robotics Gallery.
