EXCELLENT burgers and breaded chicken sandwich! Austin was easily one of the best waiters we've ever had. Only seats 25 so doing fine at normal rush times.

I knew before we even got to Cooperstown that we wanted to stop here for food. Looking from the outside you can see how small this place is going to be. There is only one server and one cook on but damn do they make it look easy! It was busy when we got there (only seats 25 people, I believe) and was still busy when we left. The food was amazing! The homemade corned beef hash was PERFECT and the sausage gravy and biscuits was delicious! The waitress was very friendly. An excellent breakfast to start the day. Looking forward to trying those burgers next time we visit there!

Love this quaint little diner. There was one very busy and efficient person taking orders, bussing tables, and serving food. He did a great job at a very busy time. There was also a very busy single cook in the kitchen. They have daily specials and a regular menu. We were very happy with our orders.

Having been told by others to visit this diner and get their cheeseburger we made it our first stop in Cooperstown. It is a small, very quaint diner with approximately 20 seats mixed between tables and barstools. It is certainly iconic simply due to its size. We arrived at noon and were immediately greeted by Peach. I will say Peach and the chef were the only two people taking care of a Friday lunch crowd. We placed our order awaiting the arrival of our burgers. My group was blown away when the burgers arrived. Just see the picture! I’ve never seen a burger this large let alone having to try and eat it. It was impossible to fit in my already big mouth so I chose to slowly knife/fork it on the plate. The burger was tasteful, juicy, and very flavorful. The tater tots were crisp and hot.
It certainly is a burger that can easily be split between diners.

Our service was impeccable, quick and delivered with humor and positive interaction from Peach. She was one of the best servers I have ever encountered. You remember the fun, experienced servers who excel at their job. Peach will always be remembered by our party of four.

Certainly visit this diner while in Cooperstown but be prepared to wait for a seat during their busy times. Trust me, it will be worth the wait.

Tiniest diner we've been to. Cute, has so much more potential to be more "authentic". Very nice chat with the owner. Probably the first time at an establishment I went to the ladies room through the kitchen. Lol
Well there is only one tiny bathroom for all anyway. Kind of makes you feel like family😉

My boyfriend and I was out here this past week for a tournament in Dream Fields that he was umpiring for..... I being that ride or die girlfriend I took off from work and took the journey with him. I’m telling you not the hall of fame not anything else we did could beat coming to your diner !! It was the highlight of my trip. I loved it so much before we took or drive home we came back and waited just so we could eat there one more time !! The food is amazing and reminded me of my mom and grandmother cooking. I felt like I was sitting in their kitchen again. I hate I can’t remember our waitress name but she was so attentive to us both times. Very friendly. She Went up and beyond to make sure we was satisfied. She is definitely an asset to your establishment. Thank you again ! For making us feel at home !! Looking forward to seeing y’all again !! I don’t know if this will help but we ate there Wednesday 8/13 and Thursday 8/14 both times about after 12 so maybe you’ll have an idea of who served us. Thank you again !!

The definition of a hole-in-the-wall diner. No frills. One waitress, one cook. Food was standard and tasty. Super interesting history. Place was packed but were able to get 2 counter seats. Good choice!

Wonderful service and prices for decent comfort food. I ordered the sausage and cheese omelette and it was fluffy and stuffed with very tasty sausage. The home fries were great, too. It’s a tiny place with only 4 tables and a counter that seats 10 people, but it’s a very authentic old school diner standing the test of time for nearly 100 years.

Good food at reasonable prices. Nice and polite staff. Prices have changed since the menu was posted on Google so expect to pay a bit more than listed. I had a burger platter and fries for just under $11.

The Cooperstown Diner on Main Street is a must visit for breakfast...lunch or dinner...there may be a bit of a wait at times since there is less than forty seats between tables and the bar to sit at but it is worth the time...
Every time my significant other and I eat there it is a treat...we are fans of their breakfast and have sampled most of the breakfast menu...she had the corned beef hash which was crisp on the outside...moist and tasty...a nice portion and filling along with two eggs...toast and bottomless coffee...I had two eggs over with crispy bacon and home fries...we both opted for the rye toast...crunchy and tasty...our coffee cup was never less than half full and our waitress has always been friendly and efficient...
We have in the past enjoyed breakfast sandwiches....omelets and more...the burgers we have seen are substantial and the desserts look delicious...
Set aside some time on your next trip to Cooperstown...stop at the diner for a leisurely meal and enjoy the old fashioned service....highly recommended...

Ate here in 2024 and 2012. AMAZING BREAKFAST SPOT! Can get crowded so get their early. Blueberry pancakes, sausage and biscuits were incredible. My sons and I ate here TWICE in the same day when we visited Cooperstown. Great comfort food in large quantities. Good old-fashioned diner that will take you back years.

Loved, loved, loved this tiny diner! Stopped in for a coffee to go but it was so cozy and welcoming that i ended up ordering breakfast at the counter and eating in. The waiter was a jack-of-all trades ~ waiting tables, making coffee and helping with the food. So friendly! One gentelman from St. Louis asked why we were "talking funny" (NY accents) and that got all the patrons talking. Visitors from NJ, Brooklyn, Long Island (Shirley), Queens and the aforementioned St. Louis along with regulars Dan and Earl. One local said "the diner is the Cooperstown equivalent of Cheers:" and he was spot on! My English muffin was cooked to perfection LOL and all the homecooked breakfast food smells made this pitstop a truly memorable Sunday morning. Read the reciews about the so-so service and TBH there was one table of two that got up and left because the service wasn't fast enough, but if you have time and a little patience, the food is definitely worth the wait!

One of my favorite breakfast places in town. It's a must stop when visiting. Service is just like at home and the food is excellent.

Small restaurant but don't fret! The service is given by those that are always quick and kind. I visit the Cooperstown area usually once a year and this diner is a frequent stop! Amazing food and cozy atmosphere
