Cooley's Stone House Tavern

When in Cooperstown NY we had a great time and an even better time when we came upon Cooley’s Stone House Tavern! The place had great service as soon as we walked in, shout out to Taren who did an amazing job even with a fully packed house. The drinks were top notch and the food was even better from the kitchen. Rueben’s were great, the Cowboy burger was spicy and fresh, the salads were delicious and the rest of the fresh dishes were a hit. We had a large group but it didn’t slow anyone down. Great job all around! We will definitely suggest this to anyone and we will come back here again. Thank you!

What an experience! I visited Cooperstown this weekend for the first time and was delighted by the food and service I had at Cooley’s. I normally don’t write reviews but I had to share the great experience I had there. Definitely the best food spot in town! Erin was our server and I was blown away by how extremely kind and attentive she was to my family and me. We got our food quickly and our drinks were delicious. We had the wings, mac and cheese bites, salad, and everything couldn’t have been better. As a vegetarian I was thrilled to see a veggie burger on the menu. Cooley’s is also very clean and suitable for families and large groups. Overall, my family and I will be recommending Cooley’s to anyone in Cooperstown. I’d love to visit again just to go back here!

If you’re visiting Cooperstown, do yourself a favor and eat here! I’m a huge fan of “tavern” or “bar food”, and this place did not disappoint. The service was great, and the food was incredible. What was really cool to me was that the staff was so friendly and having open conversation with all the customers-local and tourist. Very laid back vibe. We had the pretzel and beer cheese as an appetizer-seriously so good, and huge. I had a burger with mushrooms and Swiss cheese and my husband had wings. The fries were fresh and delicious, also. We were both more than satisfied. Would definitely recommend.

This is a great place for lunch. I love the hometown feel of he inside. The waitstaff is great....really efficient and very nice. We've had the Rueben burger, Philly cheese steak, and the French onion soup. They are VERY good. I thought the philly cheese steak was to die for. It came with homemade chips. The fries are excellent also.

We had and awesome lunch here before visiting the Museum/Hall of Fame. I had one of the best sandwiches EVER - a Cuban with delicious chunks of pork, ham off the bone, swiss cheese on grilled bread and homemade chips. My friend has the Reuben and her boyfriend had a burger, and we all agreed it was a delicious lunch. Taryn was the server, and she was a pleasure. We hope to get back there again!

SO GOOD. I am picky & this place was great. Broccoli cheddar soup & a burger—can’t go wrong!

Haven't been there in a while. Had a great cranberry juice and vodka drink and it was great also had mini cheeseburger sliders and they were great too

My grandson is a burger aficionado having eaten hundreds and probably a hundred or more places, and he rates this burger in the top three...it is a good burger and fries.
That said, I highly recommend the Pot Roast Philly. It is excellent, and there's a reason that it's their top seller. Atmosphere...it's an old Tavern, but a gem for the right things.

Had a wonderful late lunch/early dinner at Cooley's today. My husband and I both started with a bowl of the roasted red pepper and tomato soup which was outstanding! I had a delicious cheeseburger and fries and my husband very much enjoyed his Bavarian pretzel and boneless buffalo wings which are served with delicious, homemade blue cheese. We ordered a side of onion rings to try them and they were fantastic! The service was wonderful and the prices are very reasonable, we will definitely be back!

Stopped in for a cocktail and snacks. Food was delicious and the drink was excellent. I had to call back as I left my credit card there and they were extremely helpful! I will go again the next time I visit Cooperstown!

Everything was great-boneless wings with their own signature sauce, Nacho platter, burgers. Top notch bar food.

A GREAT pub. Pot roast sandwich was VERY flavorful, service was friendly and engaging, bathrooms were super clean. I'd go there again when I visit Cooperstown. Not fancy but warm and inviting

Coopers Tavern is the best secret of Annapolis though outside the city limits.
The burgers! Amazing - tasty, delicious and not light on the ingredients.
The delicious food is not the only reason to come here but the staff.
The ladies are welcoming and friendly, fast and sharp with the orders and always on the lookout for the refill or to anticipate complimentary options to your meal.
Highly recommend for a burgers and fried calamari.
