Salvadoreño Restaurant #5- Pupusas

The only other pupusas I can compare these to is what Trader joes and Costco have to offer. These are amazing. I got the asada and bean and cheese.

First time ordering from here, ordered the whole fish ( mojarra frita) really tasty, fresh and well seasoned, definitely worth the price . Also ordered 3 pupusas, variety of them, they came with cortido and salsa. Overall everything was delicious, I'll be back again. It's worth a try. Ok I've now enjoyed the food here for I've 2 years now. Tried a combo platter, Kola champagne and ensalada de fruta drink. It's all very good. $38 plus tip. Great price. New pic's. GO TRY THIS SPOT.

Food was very good. We had pupusas and empanadas. Great customer service. When we come back in town we will come back.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! AMAZING FOOD. I love the pupusas and the platano frito! With a cola champagne or a ensalada de fruta! Delicious!!!! Please go. Keep them in business so I can have my home cooked meals

I really loved this place with just walking in. The waitress was wonderful!! She has the best personality, very helpful & she knows the menu. I had pupusas with cheese, beans & pulled pork with rice & beans. Of course I had the coleslaw/cabbage mix(not sure what it is called) on top. The pupusas are made FRESH to order. We also had a sample of Salvadorian horchata & I highly recommend that you taste it! All in all I am very happy with my experience there & I will travel to eat there again & drink my cup of Salvadorian coffee!!

Excellent food and service. The papusas are really good, especially with the slaw and salsa toppings. The Jamaica/Hibiscus aqua fresca is also very, very good! First time coming here, but definitely won't be the last!

My mom and I tried this place and WOW! This was my first time trying pupusas and oh my goodness they were delicious we took them to go and through the 20 minute drive home they were still hot! We ordered kind of a lot so there was a bit of a wait but it was 100% worth it and we will be coming back, also recommending to my friends and family! With the cabbage and sauce on top these were very filling they look small but don't let the looks deceive you. If you are considering this place please go see them it's worth it!

Nice place decent food over price

Pupusas are a bit pricey but they are fat and taste pretty damn good. The pasteles de Carne were pretty awesome as well. Totally coming back to this one.

Vegan options are always so good, vegetarian options too!! Service is friendly and fast, plus they have a wide selection of cane sugar bottled soda which is the best!!!

OMG!!! Went to this place for the first time, it's so good! Best pupusas I have ever had. I ordered 1 asada and 1 cheese with a side of plantains and queso fresca. The cheese pupusas is my favorite! Great service as well. The lady at the cashier who took my order was very sweet. I will definitely be back!

The pupusas are so good, and so hot and fresh and greasy, which is how you know you got a good pupusa. Perfectly crispy on the outside as well. They have so many vegetarian options as well which is amazing. And the prices are also so good. I wish I could eat these every day

Service was food. It was a wait for my pupusas but very worth it. Freshly made still hot when I got home. I ordered pupusas chicharron/queso, revuelta, and queso con loroco. It came with 2 sides I got casemiento. And queso fresco. All was delicious but the chicarrón con queso pupusa was super delicious. The salsa and curtido was also good. Glad I tried this place. It didn't disappoint

A vegetarian's dream!!! They have nearly a dozen vegetarian popusas and nearly as many vegan options!

My husband and I both ordered the three popusas combo with a side of platanos y beans/rice[also vegan]. The popusas are HUGE! We both took at least one home with us.

The only thing I'll add, and this is by no means a negative critique. If you like spicy salsas/hot sauce, you might want to bring a bottle of it with you. Salvadorian cooking is generally not known for being spicy. Next trip, we'll probably bring a bottle of Red & Green Tobasco with us.

We are vegetarian foodies. If you're vegetarian or vegan you know how difficult it is to be one. We both whole heartedly recommended Salvadoreño Restaurant - 5!

The Pupusas are fantastic. The tortilla is nice and airy, not dense like the ones that we have been accustomed to over the years. They are not skimping on the filling either. Very pleasant experience. The employees are great!

If I could give it 10 stars I would!! Amazing, delicious!! My mouth is watering just thinking about the pupusas and tamales.

We live just down the street from this gem, so it will surely become one of our favorites. The food is very tasty, with such a fresh aroma, and very different from the local Mexican food. The atmosphere is quiet, calm, and very friendly. The food choices range from tasty snacks, yummy desserts, to wonderfully prepared combination meals of different sizes.

So far I've tried the beef caldo and the pupusas, AMAZING experince, very DELICIOUS.... My Husband had the Triple Fajitas and he loved it....definitely coming back for more....

The pupusas are AMAZING here. My favorite has to be revueltas (pork, beans, and cheese) but you can’t go wrong with anything you order here. My friend ordered Salpicon Con Sopa (minced beef with beef soup) and I almost stole her whole plate. Give this place a try, you won’t regret it. Great customer service and lovely ambiance.
