Best Mexican food we have ever found. Tried California,Arizona,and Texas. We came from Texas for our Anniversary and came back to our favorite restaurant. El Rico burrito with Shrimp is highly recommended. We paid for Salsa and chips to go, to bring back to Texas for the kids. Guacamole is to die for. It’s that good. Margaritas are big and taste great. Prices are reasonable for the quality and taste you get. Started in 2013 endulging ourselves there. Our server Grace made our night so special. Phenomenal service and was a lovely person to talk with throughout the night. Thank You Rio Mirage and Grace.

My daughter and my friends took me there yesterday for my 57th birthday! My first visit to Rio. The food was superb and the margaritas some of the best ive ever had! The service was attentive and friendly! Highly recommend!

Drinks are SPENDY but the servers are fantastic. The food is delicious! I highly recommend eating in rather than to go to get the most bang for your buck. Our tabke was a little wobbly. The complimentary chips and salsa are great. The jalapeño poppers are sometimes atomically and painfully hot so be aware, if you are ordering them you need to have a high spice tolerance lol. The nachos are out of this world. We'll be back!

They refill the chips and salsa, the salsa for the chips at first without request is not that hot which for me was perfect.. the plates are large, the combos are magical. The drinks are all great.

The green chile was so good! The beef was so tender and tasty! Staff was friendly and attentive as well, great meal!

So good. Took my lady there for a surprise lil margarita and taco getaway. I got the nachos with chicken. Absolutely wonderful chicken. The red sauce was excellent. And her chicken,and carne asada tacos were very good. Server was prompt and thorough. Food came pretty quickly. Nice clean restaurant with a nice atmosphere .

The band was amazing and the food tasted good also. Everyone that got alcohol said the drinks were good too. We sat outside and it was so nice!

We’ve been here 10+ times but only did this last experience want us to leave a review. We came to grab our personal favorites but discovered they had a seasonal menu on the table, specifically with Birria Tacos. We decided to try it out and it was the best Birria we’ve had in the valley. Very flavorful, balanced, just the right amount of spice and the tacos were incredible as well. We were told by our waiter that this is only for a limited time which is kind of disappointing but we’ll be back in the next few days to get as much as we can before it’s finally gone. This place never disappoints and we always love taking a quick walk from our home to come get some fantastic, authentic, and flavorful food with a great atmosphere. This is food made with love and care and we wouldn’t have it any other way!

Everything was so fresh and tasty.
From the fresh chips & salsa, to the chicken & Spinach enchiladas made with homemade corn tortillas, to shredded beef tacos & green chicken chimi made with a homemade flour tortilla. I usually get the red chili con carne, because it's amazing, but I tried something different and I'm glad I did.
I wanted a drink to relax and cut the edge off and the pina colada did not disappoint!!! Definitely give this place a try. 😋

Excellent Mexican food and great service. We had not been back here since before the pandemic. Had a great dinner. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered. Highly recommend. FRESHLY MADE TORTILLAS

First time trying this restaurant and the food was quite delicious. I tried the Mahi Taco and ouhhh yum yum! The taco salad with carnitas was splendid. The steak was tender and perfectly balanced with the salad.

Our waiter was very nice, fast, and never let us go without a drink or service. The food was fabulous like always, a manager was walking around (we were sitting on the patio) and my two 7 year old girls and my 10 year old niece were over in the corner playing and she went over and was chatting with them, laughing and just super sweet with them!! They had a Mariachi band there that night also, was such a fun atmosphere!!!

The margaritas and food was exceptional! We got Cadillac Margaritas and Steak Fajita chimis with Jalepeno cream cheese Ranchero and every bite was delicious and the margarita was so smooth and I'm not even a big drinker and wanted more!

Food was Great. Service was Excellent. Inviting and Friendly Ambiance. Our server was a handsome man who guided our culinary trip through the menu.

We will be Back! We will bring friends and family.

Great food , beautiful restaurant, parking is hard if you go at lunch time. 1.00 margaritas on Monday, buffet on Sunday, Mirachi band on Friday night.

This is more than a 5 star experience. I started coming here over 20 years ago, and it only gets better. Family love of food, service, story is unmatched. Minnesota is not too far to travel from too enjoy this.

Excellent service! They make tortillas from scratch. They were able to meet my allergy restrictions and make me what I can eat with no contaminations. The others I ate with enjoyed their meals. They recently added more to the ambience by painting a beautiful mural on the wall during the time their was shut down for COVID-19 pandemic.

Possibly the best Mexican food I've had. Tomatillo enchiladas are excellent, great chips and salsa, amazing margaritas

Authentic atmosphere. Waiter spoke little English which in my opinion added to the authentic experience. I had the mahi mahi fish tacos and they were amazing! Rice and beans, spot on But, if you're looking for vegan options, it's not the place.
