Burghs Bagels

Stopped in this morning with the family. We all got some bagels and I ordered the bacon/avocado/greens on an everything bagel. The sandwich was one of the best breakfast sandwiches I have ever had. Good crispy bacon very fresh veggies. Can’t wait to go back!

Definitely a must try. As a person who loves bagels and has tried so many bagels in NY, I was amazed at the how good the bagels were. The breakfast sandwiches were amazing and was just a great play on flavors. Toppings we're also plentiful, and the iced coffee was refreshing. Would like to come back and try the other sandwiches. But for sure, the Burghs Breakfast is top tier.

About the Bagel Place:
This bagel place, aptly named Burgh Bagels, is a true hidden gem located on Steubenville. Nestled in a small plaza next to Bruggers Ice Cream, it boasts ample parking, making it a convenient and accessible spot.

About the Food:
As the name suggests, we opted for their bagels, and they did not disappoint. The Jalapeño Red Pepper bagel paired with the onion and chive cream cheese was an extraordinary combination, leaving me longing to savor it every day. Not stopping there, I also ordered their breakfast sandwich, "Avo Baco 4 When U Wake O," which turned out to be a perfect start to the day.

Overall, discovering this place was a delightful surprise. Despite residing within just 3 miles, I was previously unaware of this hidden gem. It's undoubtedly a must-visit for bagel enthusiasts, offering an unmatched bagel experience. A solid five-star rating is well-deserved for this incredible find.

Absolutely amazing experience! First off, the atmosphere is great. Very comfy and open. The staff was also fantastic. Several people were working and they were all incredibly happy and kind. But the best part-the bagels themselves. This far exceeded any of the expectations that I had. I got a red pepper bagel with bacon, scrambled egg, cheddar, and a hash brown. What a game changing bagel. Everything was cooked perfectly and so flavorful. Highly recommend trying the red pepper bagel!

What a FANTASTIC addition to the Pittsburgh area! The breakfast sandwiches we tried were the best we’ve ever had! The bagels here are large, perfectly crispy on the outside, and fluffy on the inside. We visited on a Saturday around 10:30 am, and despite a line to the door, it moved quickly, and we were even able to get a seat in their comfy dining area. The staff at the register was friendly taking our order and the kitchen staff looked like a well-oiled machine too. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

I craved something simple for breakfast, simple but good. I stumbled upon Burghs while sitting in the hotel room and decided to venture out.

First, walked into a very tidy and cozy coffee shop feel atmosphere. If I had more time I would have sat down to enjoy a more mellow start to the day.

I went with a plain bagel, egg white and some cheese.

These are top tier bagels for not being in the NY/NJ/CT area where bagels are top notch. Light fluffy inside, and a little crunchy on the outside (you know what I mean, the needs for a good bagel.

The employees were friendly as well.

I’ll definitely stop back to try more off the money next time I’m in town.

Dear God in the bleak flavorless world of brueggers and Einstein brothers be a Burghs! This is the first legit bagel place in the area we need about 10 more of these places in Pittsburgh. Proper bagels at great prices. I cannot wait to come back because this will be a regular spot for me and anyone who will listen to me rant about bagels. Stop by here you won't regret it.

We've been here several times. I've used them for large office functions they've always been great.
Today wasn't good. We stopped in around 12:15 on a Saturday. We bother ordered breakfast sandwiches. They were handed to us in a greasy brown bag with the grease seeping through. I didn't think too much of it at the time but both of our sandwiches were very greasy, some grease/oil is to be expected but they were more than normal. My wife's sandwich was good otherwise my sandwich was in extremely salty to the point of inedible. Like they accidentally over salted but decided to go with it anyway. It was bad. We got our sandwiches to go. I'm not going back for another sandwich or to complain.
I'll give them more chances based on past experiences but the 4 teenage/college age kids working there probably need better supervision to ensure quality control and long term success.
I am rooting for this business.
The mix of ingredients were good, fresh, the poppyseed bagel was perfect as I've had before. But keep an eye on quality for all phases of the business.

These bagels were the best I’ve ever had, truly. The amount of salt on my bagel sandwich wasn’t really enough compared to what I usually like, BUT the flavour and texture was so perfect that it didn’t ruin the taste or experience for me. They know how to make a good bagel.

We were eagerly waiting the opening of this bagel shop as soon as we say the sign go up at the store front, and it did not disappoint. Theres a reason there's a line out the door from the moment they open each day. Super friendly staff and delicious bagels and bagel sandwiches keep us coming back!

Definitely a must try place, Was in town visiting (From Texas)and just happen stop by, Customer service was great! Done had other beagles before nothing compared to these. Whenever I’m in town again I’ll definitely stop again.

New place, with the BEST bagels. They weren't all tough and doughy, but nice and fresh! There is some indoor seating as well as tables around the building. Try them out! Also be prepared for a line out the door, as they are that good.

It’s ALWAYS clean inside, customer service is great and of course the food is insanely good. Bagels are fire, bacon is always crispy (never any runny/fatty pieces) consistently fresh greens, I could go on and on about this place, definitely a must try!

I placed a large order for a work shindig. I needed it very early, and they were super accommodating, even though it was before the store opened for the day. After picking up the order and getting it to work, I realized there was a small hiccup with the order. I called the store and they immediately sent someone out to make it right. Their customer service is phenomenal, and the bagels are AMAZING! I will definitely be a repeat customer. Thank you Burghs Bagels!

The bagels are amazing. Every single employee was full of life and they were all so kind and considerate. I will say, I ordered coffee, and it wasn’t the best, so I would stick with the bagels - they’re awesome!

Back for a proper review.

I haven't had a proper bagel since COVID began. I tried the onion bagel, took one bite, and thought to myself, "Now that's a bagel!" I highly recommend this place and I could go on and on about the nuances of the bagel itself, but this isn't a Yelp review. Bottom line, this place is legit. The interior is cozy and the staff is friendly. I advise that you come here early so that you can experience their full menu.

As a native New Yorker of 20+ years, these bagels are the closest I’ve had to NY bagels in Pittsburgh. Soft bagels with a crunchy exterior, they don’t skimp on the ingredients either. I got the Lox bagel and an egg sandwich, both were delicious. Iced coffee is great! Clean store and friendly service! Lots of parking space! Definitely coming back… maybe even for lunch today!

I wasn’t expecting it to be so beautiful in a bagel shop. I love the vibe. Comfy and great design. I’m a big fan of the logo and kept meaning to eat here.

Service was fast & friendly. The breakfast sandwiches we got were delicious! I’d never even heard of a French toast bagel before. I had ti try it.

Just got back from NYC, and you know what we did every single day? Ate bagels (and pizza of course)! So, I was super curious about Burgh's Bagels and how they'd measure up to the real deal. Turns out, they're pretty darn close in taste and texture to those iconic NY bagels. It's like a slice of NYC right here in town. I've officially found my new go-to bagel spot. Big bagel points earned!

Best bagels I’ve had..was visiting from Texas and now can’t wait till I’m back in town for these great bagels.
