Once Upon A Child

I love once upon a child in Concord. I drive 1.5 hours because they have the best selection and offers. They are able to process your clothing same day. The selection is amazing and the staff is personable and friendly.

I’ve never sold to OUAC but I buy very Frequently now that I’ve had my daughter and I can’t believe the reviews! I’ve never had a bad experience at this location. I will admit some of the staff could be a little “friendlier” but overall I’ve worked retail before I know sometimes my 100% customer service attitude is gone by the end of the day so I have no complaints honestly. 10/10 would recommend and will continue to reconsider shopping here

I had a great experience. The girls sorting out the clothes were very kind to me since selling stuff is not super easy for me personally. Phenomenal and understanding staff. Will be coming in again. Very clean organized inside also.

I would like to share something with the owner, Dan.....You are so appreciated by myself and our family....You are a great business owner and especially wonderful to your employee Jonna....You have extended mercy, compassion, and kindness to her when others are only self-serving....You have an amazing heart and compassion for one's whom can easily be overlooked....You are a rare person and I wanted you to know that even though you haven't met me, your care of my Sister blesses us beyond measure!!! We have been to several Once Upon a Child stores but this one was the best. The racks were full of great inventory. The store was very clean and the staff were super kind. We got a large bag of clothes and another smaller bag of books for a great price 🙂. I noticed several people selling their children's clothes while we were there. The process to sell seemed stress free and efficient. We hope to come back again soon.

I love selling and buying here! I think the prices and selection is great. Some of the younger staff could be friendlier, but overall my experience is good!

During closet clean-outs, I rewash items that my kids outgrow and take them there periodically, but I have not been in years until a few days ago. I can say that the store is in much better order than it was 8-9 years ago. When my son was little, I would go to buy rain jackets and outerwear. Communities need a place to buy and sell gently worn items. I’m certain that it is a busy and chaotic industry, and I’m certain there are days that the tasks to get done exceeds the employees there to do them. I do recommend calling before going if you are selling. I’m certain the amount that they accept depends on employees, and if they don’t have enough ppl to process orders, then you will have to come back another day. I was well pleased at the condition of the store, what they bought from me, and the helpfulness of the staff.

Can't believe all the negative reviews. I've been going here the past year for my baby. Everytime he outgrows what he has I come in and trade it in for clothes that fit. The wait times can be long but that's to be expected. I always call before I make the drive to ensure they are buying that day. I have been to other locations like Winston and this one is by far the better location and cleaner! This one actually has a really good selection of baby boy clothes that the other stores don't. I will keep coming as long as I can, I've never had anyone be unfriendly. They are all friendly and accommodating and the older man at the registers is so friendly and helpful and always reminds me about the rewards and deals. I love this place and I'm so grateful to have a place to buy my baby clothes without paying a arm and a leg!

Staff is always super nice to me even on their stressful Black Friday sale day. Retail is NOT easy and this store is always well organized, stocked and cleaned. Their selling process is simple and they always take a major selection of clothes I bring in. I think the price points are really reasonable especially in the economy we live in currently.

My son has outgrown this store although this is where i use to go for many of his clothes and to resale them, and I still go in for my nieces and nephews... so needless to say I've been going here for a very long time. It's always been a good experience for me. The employees may not be over the top talking and giggling with every customer(which working retail it seems many expect fast efficient service but also want employees that chit chat)you can tell they are busy getting clothes ready for us to buy.... which has to be done for you to be able to shop there, so I ain't mad at it... with that said I've never felt anyone was rude to me or felt I got bad service... I've always felt the people were friendly... and efficient! Keep doing what ur doing! And side note the responses to the haters are awesome.. I love reading them!!

I went here the other day and I was a little nervous since the reviews are somewhat questionable. BUT I had a perfectly fine experience. The store was well stocked, the prices were very fair and the workers were attentive.
The cashier even put up with me while I juggled holding my 6 month old and paying my tab.
If I need something specific in the future I will definitely come here to look first.

I went at opening (the best time!) to sell and it was super quick! Maybe 15 minutes to go through my full bin. They took maybe half, but I never expect them to take everything! The staff was super friendly and kind and seemed just happy to be there. The store is clean and well organized and had a good selection for what I was looking for (a swimsuit for my son). I will definitely be going back to this store to buy and sell again.

The staff here is fantastic! I called in a panic after an online order with a big brand store fell though and left my child without the necessary uniform they needed for camp. The associate at Once Upon A Child pulled the needed items and held them for me until I could pick them up. Good quality clothes and very fair pricing!!

We enjoy coming to this store whether it be for a quick outfit that we need immediately or for doll clothes. The items have suited our needs almost every single time we’ve come in.

I was cert skeptical about going in here after reading reviews. I have now shopped once and sold twice and my experiences have been great! Everyone is very friendly and they have taken a good amount of my clothes every time. But I never expected them to take everything after reading through the process. I will continue to come here!

Wonderful selection of clothes at such a reasonable price. Everything is very clean and it doesn’t smell bad in the store like some consignment places. What really blew me away was the kindness of the staff! I literally left with tears because they were so kind and helpful to my husband and I. We let them know that we are expectant foster parents and that we are just trying to prepare. They offered us lots of shopping tips, information about their sales and even gave us 20% off of our purchase. We will be regulars at this store for sure!!!!

We have shopped here for years. We've bought items from them and brought items to them for purchase (tho we have bought a lot more than we've sold to them) :) . The staff is friendly and accommodating. They generally have a good selection and the prices are affordable. They have a good number of sales/clearance, making the items even more affordable. We're thankful to have Once Upon A Child as an option for shopping for our constantly-growing grandkids.
