Mike Devo is great! I'm a hairstylist. With 41 years of abuse to my neck, back, and arms due to the profession. And feeling that I was at the point of possibly having to stop doing what I love, I decided to seek out massage therapy and found Mike. When I contacted him, he told me he was pretty sure he could help me. And he was right! The damage that has been done from the 41years of doing hair is a lot to undo. I'm about 6 massages into it, and have felt better with each visit. The pain I had been experiencing is no longer at the forefront of my daily thoughts. I am usually reluctant about massage. Yea it feels fine in the moment but beyond that it just seems costly and not very productive. I see a chiropractor regularly, and have had tremendous success with it. I had developed an issue with some deep core muscles and my chiropractic care was not getting to the issue. He said he had heard good things about International Medical Massage in St. Charles. So I did what every good husband does, I bought my wife a massage. When she came home after an hour with Nita, she said “you have to go see her.” So I did. The power this 5’ tall lady packs was remarkable. There was nothing foo foo about this massage! She reached areas in my deep core muscles that I didn’t know I had. This is every bit a “Medical Massage” like it says on her business card. I have been back 5 more times. The progress in problem areas has been remarkable. My chiropractor called the other day and asked where I had been. I told him “You should have never told me about Nita!”

I saw Nita for the first time due to severe neck pain and loss of range of motion. She was able to reduce my pain level and increase my range of motion by about half after one session. She was so understanding and willing to work with the limited mobility I had. I cannot wait to schedule a full body massage with her and would absolutely recommend her. She really is wonderful.

AMAZING Massage especially for Neck pain relief. Mike is absolutely amazing. Mike showed me stretching and strengthening exercises at my first visit. I then got in with a PT who instructed on additional stretching and back strengthening exercises (she started with the ones I was already doing from Mike's demo)! At my second appointment, he focused exclusively on the upper back and neck for the entire hour. I have never before experienced almost instantaneous relief. I definitely need to keep up with my daily stretching and strengthening exercises, it makes a huge difference. But wow, Mike is so educated in his craft. He provides truly effective therapy. He is an integral partner in my healing process. I will continue to see him regularly. It is a medical necessity for my health & well-being. I’ve been seeing Jaimi Lynn for lymphatic drainage massage, and she is fantastic. The first time she explained everything to me beforehand, so I knew what to expect. Each time I see her she is able to adjust to what my body needs. I leave feeling refreshed and relaxed.

After having surgery in May, I wanted to really start taking better care of myself in order to recover fully, and faster. I had heard in the past of lymphatic massage, and decided to give it a shot. I am SO glad that I did. My massage therapist is Jaimi Lynn, and she never disappoints! The first time, she said everything was so stagnant that it was hardly moving but I have to be 100% honest and tell you: I haven’t had the energy that I had an hour after she finished, for years. After that first time, everything started moving faster, more efficiently, and I feel wonderful overall. I am 8 weeks post op, and aside from internal stitches coming out; I am healed. I have energy! Mike Devi, LMT is a phenomenal Lymphatic Massage Therapist. I am recovering from breast cancer treatments and lost 17 lymph nodes. I developed lymphodema and Mike’s treatments brought me from 6 to 1.1 in lymphodema readings. This is significant for my health. The lymphodema regressed and was significantly reduced. I also suffer from neuropathy. Mike has reduced the suffering from it enormously. I am completely blessed to have found Mike. My cancer team sees dramatic improvement all the time. I was close to making an appointment with my family doctor as I couldn't raise my arms above my head. I decided to try a massage with Nita first. Allow me to introduce you to miracle-worker, Mike Devo! I contacted Mike's practice after a severe lower back muscle strain caused by moving some furniture two weeks ago, entering his office unable to stand fully-upright and only capable of very short walking strides to avoid excruciating pain. Not only did Mike have me walking out of there upright and mostly normal, he provided detailed explanations of how his techniques were affecting each area of my back, and why specific areas were more sore than others. He answered all of my questions thoroughly, without making me feel uncomfortable for asking, and described what movements and stretches I should avoid and which ones I should start performing on my path to full recovery. I had a lumbar-fusion surgery of the L5-S1 vertebrae seven years ago and have dealt with back pain most of my adult life, likely caused by horseback riding, military service, poor exercise methodologies, etc. and wish I had found Mike years ago. His knowledgeable approach and understanding of bone and muscle mechanics exceeds the knowledge base of many spinal and neurosurgeons I've visited! This is the place for healing!
