Attended a party in the private room upstairs. The food was great and the drinks were yummy!

Long-standing favorite for hearty meal of "comfort food" and great service. Servers have always been attentive, friendly, and helpful in our experience. Julissa really gave us smiles today with her can-do attitude, even when busy during the lunch rush.

My husband orders the two-enchilada dinner with rice and beans. I order the grilled cheese (it comes with American cheese) and fries. Chips are fresh and salsas are always yummy. Portions are really generous, served on large oval plates.

We appreciate that they charge a lower rate if you pay cash, since I'm sure those processing fees for credit cards add up for a small local business. Doing what they can to keep prices fair and reasonable for everyone!

Great lunch! The food was really tasty and the service was super quick.

My family and I have been ordering here for about five years. Generally we carry out but, they have a great looking bar and a large dine in area as well. This is our go to Mexican restaurant in the Fox Valley. The staff is always polite and our order is always correct and the food is ALWAYS hot when you get home. Chips and salsa are great and the Longe Tacos are a must. Lots of great options in Saint Charles for restaurants but, this is for sure a favorite.

El Puente is a great Mexican restaurant in St. Charles. The food was cooked perfectly with great flavor and prompt service. In addition to their great food, they have great margaritas.

My boyfriend and I come here often! Excellent food and excellent service! We always feel so welcomed and we're always given the same table or general area of said table which is really nice :) Oh! And we absolutely love their warm salasa. It's easily my favorite salsa of any restaurant we've tried.

Small, cute restaurant with delicious food. They have an enchilada sauce based salsa that was amazing and the steak fajitas were excellent. Would absolutely eat here again any time.

What a wonderful experience!! I went in the afternoon around 2p.m. We started out with the chips and salsa (the chips were fresh and warm) the salsas were mild and spicy. I preferred the mild one. I ordered a frozen strawberry margarita and it was perfectly made!! I had the chimichanga dinner and it was delicious!! It was made exactly the way I asked for it to be. It had a little bit of a kick to it but that was what the guacamole and sour cream were for. The rice and beans were excellent as well. I was completely stuffed and had plenty left over to take home for another meal. I will definitely be going back sooner than later!!

My husband and I come here fairly frequently. The food is really solid and consistent. The free chips come with two sauces, one is somewhat adjacent to tomato soup but I am obsessed with it! The meat for the entrees is very lean and tender. Staff are attentive to food allergies. We also rarely have to wait since they have so many tables, so it’s a great option when other nearby restaurants have 60-90 minute waits.

I really like eating here. When I am in St Charles, this is one of my favorite places to eat. The servers are polite and always on top of everything. The owners also pay close attention to make sure everyone has a good experience.

Arrived near 7 pm on a Friday night. Did not have reservations. The main area was full but they opened an additional side room to accommodate us.
Was nice to see many margarita choices with a couple available in pitcher or 1/2 pitcher options.
Our party of 4 all enjoyed our meals and polished off a couple baskets of chips.
Service was excellent, attentive without being overwhelming.
Our total with 25% tip was $100.
Many free parking spots on the nearby side street.

Friendly servers. Clean inside. Didn't sit at the bar, but it looked inviting. Food was good. I will eat here again. Peach margarita was very good.

Nice Mexican restaurant in town of Saint Charles. Good food and service at a price you can afford. Close to theater making it a nice place to eat before the show.

10/10 for Mexican food in St. Charles!! Such a cozy happy atmosphere with fantastic homemade food and great drinks!! Our server Jalissa was so upbeat and good vibes!! Also whenever we go for lunch the server is fantastic and alway remembers us! We are so glad that this wonderful restaurant is in our hometown! The chips/salsa/guacamole soooo good!! Longy tacos are one of our favorites!!!

Excellent taste of authentic Mexican food, very good service

This place is amazing. The food was made with so much care and clear experience. It reminded me of my fathers restaurant when I was little. If you are in the area and looking for Mexican food, do yourself a favor and come here you will not be disappointed.
