Silver Moon Chinese Food

We stop whenever we travel through Santa Rosa. As usually the food was fantastic. We love the Santa Fe enchiladas, small, but mighty, packed with white chicken meat. We loved the pozole and beans. Couldn't ask for a better server! Sydney was friendly, attentive, and speedy. We will be back.

NEVER GOING TO ANY OTHER CHINESE FOOD. The chow mein beats anything in Sonoma county. Always fresh and flavorful. My 4 year old even finds their food pleasant!!

Amazing food every time, this picture shows white rice with Curry chicken and teriyaki with a side of sweet & sour sauce. The ladies English is difficult but the service is so kind. I have to limit my self to once a week with this place!

So good!!! Authentic and affordable, it has all the classics as well as new house recipes. I was able to sample items to make sure they weren't too spicy & Lee was very helpful in creating a unique and memorable experience. Best crab rangoons & dimsum! 🦀

Being a transplant from San Francisco, I'm quite picky about Chinese food. I've never been a take-out gal, but with the pandemic, I gave Silver Moon a try a few months ago, and I now go weekly. Their noodles are good, and I love their curry chicken (goes really well with rice). You can also order things that aren't at the hot table if you don't mind to wait a bit or call in. I have ordered Singapore Noodles (curry thin rice noodles with BBQ pork) a few times, and also tried their pan-fried flat rice noodles (you can ask for shrimp, beef, or chicken). Both really good. The portion is big enough for me to have leftovers for the next day. And they have GREAT shrimp dumplings. Even better than what I get at take out places in San Francisco (partly why I don't usually like take-out!). They also have steamed buns, but I haven't tried them, since I prefer baked buns (only available on Saturday -- I usually get the custard ones). Oh, they also have sesame balls. If like the custard ones, but I think they also have them with red beans.

my family had been coming here for years. it's a place loved by 3 generations of my family and I come here any chance I get. Great prices, amazing food, really nice staff. The decor's lacking though, but this is a restaurant and the focus is on food, so I won't detract points. The optimal way to experience it (in my opinion) is to get some amazing dim-sum and maybe a small box of Peking pork, and then go out for a picnic. Great for takeout.

This place deserves more attention than the Panda Express stores in the town, it's basically the same price maybe like 20 cents more expensive and tastes a heck of a lot better than Panda Express, plus it's basically the same style of restaurant as Panda, it might take more time sometimes if they're out of a dish but it's way better and the customer service is great and the food is much more authentic than Panda. I love going in there, it's my 2nd time going and I approve of this restaurant. I hope they stay open forever. Merry Christmas.

The first time I went here was around 2005 and the food is still as good as it was back then and honestly a way better option than panda express.

One of the few places open on Christmas Eve, and has great chow mein and cha siu. The server was also super kind and gave us generous portions. Worth a visit if you're ever in Santa Rosa!

I love this restaurent very much! No reason to give under 5 stars because their teriyaki chicken, fried dumplings,... so delicious! And the important, those people don't look like can spit into your meal(some pelple can do it who told me they did), they look like very loyal and honest! When I bought extra meal for a homeless who pick up gabarge outside, they gave me a eyes of approval so I knew that!

Delicious food. Every single item on the menu is tasty. I can go in and just order whatever is already made, and I’ve never been disappointed. I’ve tried tofu many times in my life too and Silver Moon’s is the only one I’ve ever liked.

Myself and colleagues from Santa Rosa Junior College have been relying on Silver Moon meals for the past 15 years. Their chicken "chop -chop" is tasty barbecued chicken and can be ordered with a number of accompaniments. They provide large portions and I usually have it for dinner or the next day. Most of their dishes microwave well when there are any leftovers. The front staff varies through the years but they are usually attentive and engaging. The cook(s) must be the same because the quality of the food has remained high.

Pretty good food at very very good prices. Their "hot bean cake" (tofu) dish is absolutely amazing, along with their fried rice! Very friendly staff.

Quick spot to grab excellent Chinese food at insane prices, the food is awesome! I love popping in and grabbing some chicken, chow mein, and pot stickers. Try the chicken curry combination meal. Family owned and they take pride in their work. I have grown to love this place so much

This place is the best! I love how they are always kind, respectful, and quick to get you served. Even if they are low on something, they are quick to make you a fresh batch and serve it to you. 100/10 would recommend to anyone.
