I loved this shop! My first time hearing about it and lived here for about a year now. Definitely worth the go it was super cute!

Amazing inventory of surf and skate goods, beach stuff, clothes, candles… If we had a van, we could fill it with wonderful cool things. As it was, found a perfect hat, and a perfect blanket. Such a great vibe, and the “kids” at the counter were chill and professional.

Awesome customer service from Lindsey and Faith!!! And very high quality products, definitely recommend checking them out even if you're not in town you can order online like I did. I look forward to buying more cool gear in the near future!

My husband and I come here every time we are in town! Their customer service is outstanding, and they're some of the nicest people. For example, we bought a candle as a gift for a friend, and one of the ladies (can't remember her name, but she was the sweetest) went in the back and wrapped it for us with gorgeous wrapping paper and a pretty bow. It looked fantastic! They go above and beyond every time. Keep it up!!

Very cute little shop. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. We rented a surfboard and they were very flexible and gave us some good recommendations.

Couldn't have asked for more. Everyone working there was incredibly helpful, Katie answered all my questions on the phone and made sure they had everything I needed. The selection at the shop was great and I recommend it to anyone in the area. Location is also great with the area having so much to offer.

Just went for the first time last night and the store is beautiful. Cashier was very nice and they even have the cap necklace from outer banks. Very fitting vibes!

Not sure why (location, name, whatever), but I had always put this shop in the “surf/beach lifestyle” category vs. a proper surf shop. Not a thing wrong with the former, just not a place I would go to look for boards, fins, etc…or at least I thought. Finally was able to spend some time in the shop and I was wrong. The board selection (skim and surf), while maybe not the largest around, is really solid and the crew knew what they were taking about. Packs a punch for its size and has a good vibe. Really glad I challenged my (poor) assumption. Lunch at grandview and a cruise though the store is a good use of time.

Braid Bar!!! I finally got to get an appointment and it was such a good time. For only $10 you're able to get your hair done. I recommend grabbing a drink at the bar first because you can bring it in. I've been told the best way to find the schedule for this is to follow their IG. Hopefully soon it's more consistent scheduling. Love!

I exclusively shop here for clothes. Just pop in, grab a new shirt, snag a bev from the fridge, leave happy. Good vibes and free smells.

Very cute shop with extremely friendly staff. They were patient in assisting me with my ukulele purchase. I took a ukulele lesson there too which was very helpful and fun.

This looks like to be a fantastic Surf Shop. Reminds me of Kauai in Hawaii. They just have a pop-up shop in a rather large retail space right now but they have a great selection of things and great customer service. I'm looking forward to the Grand Opening next month.

Ukulele Lessons!!!! THE BEST! Matt Brown is the perfect chill instructor....Amazingly patient, chooses great tunes, shares musical concepts and has given me the Gift of learning a new musical instrument. The Uke is perfect to sit and strum, sing with, even jam with. I’m amazed how much I’ve learned in such a short time. Thank You Matt and Gypsy Life Surf!

Awesome new shop at Grandview Public Market. They have a well curated selection of brands and has something for everyone. Will definitely be back when shopping for the holiday season!!!!

This hidden treasure offered warm vibes and a welcoming staff. The ambiance was brilliantly soulful. Expect to come for nothing and leave with everything but regret.

Not your average surf shop, in great way. Plenty of nice options in a "chilling with close friends" environment. Entrance is up the ramp and through the central market.
