The hours shown on Google at 9-6. I showed up at 4:55 wanting to shoot and they told me they were closing at 5:00. After mentioning the discrepancy online, they stayed an extra 30 so my nephew and I could shoot his new 10/22. Great folks!

A Nice gun range out of the city. Friendly folks and most importantly, a small family business. Why not check them out. We enjoy coming here because it’s a good hour away from the metroplex. Nice and quiet like Texas used to be.

Best place to go shooting around Hood or Erath county

Great range and service, right outside of Glen Rose. They have a pistol range and a 100 yd range, with nice carpet on the benches for the 100yd range.

Just keep an eye out for the wildlife!

Love this place! Range is always ready to go unless people intentionally ruin it for others. Every time I've been everyone has always been safety first including the other customers on the range. I have had one instance where the hours hadn't been updated on Facebook only to show up and they were closed. I had a guest with me from 3 states away. I called, owner answers and says my mistake. We were treated well like usual and given the option to stay and we'd be on the range in 10 minutes. Exactly that happened. By far one of the best family ran business I've been to. And one of the best outdoor ranges. I've gone to Uncle George's over 30 times and i will continue to go here.

Great price friendly people and great range

Nice maintained range. The staff was more than willing to get us setup and shooting, very accommodating. Yes I know, they want to get paid but these guys went out of there way to talk with us and answer any questions we had. Give em a shot!

I went there last deer season to sight in a rifle for 100 yards. $10 for range use and one target. The range had benches and bags to shoot from. Straight forward and hassle free. I was impressed with the way they did business and will return again.

My favorite place to go shoot. Love the hand gun range, 22lr range and the rifle range. If I could have anything else, it would be a rapid fire range or shot gun! Other than that, it's still a great place and good people! I really enjoy bringing my girls out, although the oldest refuse to hold the 22 like she's told lol. That said, this is where they learned hands on gun safety!

Love their range, open air and good people. They have a rifle range, pistol range, .22 range, trap, and skeet. Plenty of many types of ammo, firearms, and accessories.

Very quiet but professional and friendly staff.We go anytime we can. They repair and can do muzzle breaks ECT.
