Michaels

It is a sign of the times. I love visiting this store, but when I visited Michael's this season, I noticed that the ribbons were not 60%-70% off. By this time in the Holiday season, they usually are. A woman approached me and noted the high prices. I told her that the food prices are just as bad now, $10.00 for a container of yogurt. We realized that we are experiencing these high prices in almost every area of our lives. Let's hope Michael's craft stores are able to bounce back from this.

Love this store. Always has a wide range of arts and craft materials but also the staff is very helpful. And they always offer coupons even though I usually already have mine in the app

Surprisingly big craft store In lower level. Well stocked for most items. Was a bit difficult to find staff for a question. Multiple self checkout stations were open.

I believe this is the only chain craft store in dc, or at least in Northwest. I go there mainly for framing supplies as I like to frame my own art to save money. Generally the staff is pretty friendly and I've always had a good experience there

Real clean inside this one and well stocked. I'll continue to go because I and the kids I mentor love arts and crafts

One of my Favorite Crafting stores. I swear, you will never be disappointed!!! Like seriously, I'm always here. At least twice a week for an hour lol. But yes it's that great! I purchase all of My stickers and Happy Planners from Michael's. I love it HERE!!!❣Amazing staff and with Great Customer service. I love the savers club attached to my cellphone. Can find what you are thinking about, in a couple price ranges.

The framing department is simply fantastic. I got three diplomas framed here and Sonya that helped me out was the best. She works meticulously and her attention to detail and customer satisfaction is second to none!!

Very clean and well stocked store

I was trying to find this paper pad at various locations in my area. However, online it says the stores in my area have them i go there and nothing. It has been two weeks and yet nothing. I was told to give it some days and i did. OFCOURSE nothing. I do appreciate the staff who went out of their way to look for it at the Wisconsin ave location.
It seems there is a system mix up online as i found other crafty people have been looking for it too.
The IT TEAM SHOULD FIX THIS. VERY MISS LEADING ONLINE WHEN IT SAYS WHAT LOCAL STORES HAVE WHAT IT IS THAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR AND THE QUANTITY AND THERE IS NOTHING WHEN YOU ARRIVE TO PURCHASE IT.
OTHER THAN THAT THE STORE WAS CLEAN, NICELY ORGANIZED, AND STAFF WAS FRIENDLY AND READY TO ASSIST. 💞

I needed some patches for my torn slacks. I called first, and the person who answered the phone went and looked and told me what they had. So I went there and found what I needed. They were very nice and helpful.

First of all, the employees were super nice and the cashier was very welcoming and open to answering questions. There was absolutely great customer service, no doubt about it. It may depend on the time you are there, but when I was there, it was great.

Second, I thought it would have been in a smaller store, judging by the look of the space on the outside, but it exceeded my expectations because it did have everything that I was looking for. It may be different with the opinion on size for others, but I have not been in many other Michaels before so I should maybe not be the one to judge.

Third, the store was filled to the brim with plenty of different arts and crafts supplies and bases for projects. There were aisles for nearly everything and in each aisles of category, it had a large variety. There was also a seasonal section, but I’m not sure if that is filled all year around.

But overall, I absolutely would recommend coming back to this place or going to this place for the first time! It of course depends on what you are looking for, but personally, I think that it has a very large variety of supplies needed for arts and crafts projects.

If you love crafts, this is your store. If you don't love crafts, you'll find something of interest anyway.

Great craft store with lots of supplies at good prices. Great for all sorts of kids projects, though the prepackaged toys are a bit so-so and overpriced. Your get a 40% off one item coupon with basically every purchase (seems to start the following Monday), so worth buying something small, and then going back for the higher-priced item later.
