Tatte Bakery & Cafe | Bethesda

I love Tatte. It’s my dream atmosphere and menu. Some items are better than others but I always enjoy myself when I come here and am quick to return.

A few callouts:
The shakshuka is delicious. It could have a richer more authentic flavor but otherwise I love it.
The ricotta and peaches toast (seasonal) is delicious. But hard to eat because of size and bites and stiff crust.
The prosciutto and fig panini is good but not my favorite. Lacked in flavor to be honest.
The prosciutto and ricotta toast is also delicious. But again, hard to eat.

Incredible selection of delicious baked goods. Breakfast items are tasty and plentiful. I had the bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich on sourdough bread. Super crunchy, with eggs overflowing. It was simply delectable. Very popular place, so may be difficult to get a seat at peak times. Staff is friendly and hard working.

Man… When I say that the breakfast sandwich that I had this morning was off of the charts!! I ordered the Smoked salmon avocado with egg on a homemade bun. It was nothing like I had ever tasted. I will be ordering this again and again. This was my very first time ordering from Tatte Bakery & Cafe. Thank you for making my day.

I stop here at least once every time I visit a friend who lives nearby. It's by far our favourite. Every item on the menu is well thought out and absolutely delicious. This time the standouts were the quiche and the sweet French toast but I don't think you can go wrong!

Beautiful place. The desserts were to die for, and the lattes were delicious. If you are in Bethesda and don't know what to do, definitely pay a visit. You'll eat and drink divinely and the place is very cozy.

This is the best location out of all of them in terms of vibe and atmosphere.
(Kind of feel like im in New York with all the high rise buildings)

Their coffee is always pretty good, no doubt.
And their pastry being delicious is always a plus 😋

My family really enjoyed Tatte. We tried a few of the shakshukas and found them to be flavorful and delicious, paired well with some yummy bread that was both soft but hardy enough to make it the perfect pairing. The cheesecake cup and coffees were also lovely. The outside seating makes it a good spot for a group in nice weather, and it was stroller friendly.

This place is soo beautiful! You can tell that that staff takes great care in the production. The pastries are so fresh, the scent practically lingers in the air. We had the Lamb Hash and the Brisket grilled cheese. I will honestly get it all again and them some. The combination of flavors in the Lamb hash was delicious and the red cabbage in the grilled cheese was a great touch! I can’t wait to come back!

This bakery was so good!! We ordered from the counter, pastries and baked goods to go. The pastry was so flaked and delicious. The mousse cake was so rich and decadent.
I loved the feel of the space. It was beautiful! Great service, with a huge selection.

I absolutely love this place from the detail of the food quality down to the lovely look of the cafe. I tried the cheesecake with blueberries on my first visit and was impressed by the fact that the sweetness of the cheesecake didn't overwhelm the fruit.

When I tried the smoked salmon avocado egg sandwich, I was also impressed by how the salmon didn't taste too salty, something that I have an issue often with salmon sandwiches in other restaurants. And the brioche bread was lightly toasted to a perfect degree, not too crunchy that it made a mess, but enough to hold it's shape when being bitten into.

I also love the pistachio croissant and the dark chocolate mousse. So far I haven't been disappointed in the many cappuccinos that I've ordered as well! I definitely recommend this place for its food and ambiance.

There are a lot of pastries options. The latte is good. Bread is fresh.

This place is always busy! Their bakery items and sandwiches are delicious! Lattes are to die for!!!! Perfect spot to grab breakfast on a weekend!

Excellent pastries and sandwiches. Breakfast is served all day! Try the beef rib sandwich at lunch time. Delicious cappuccino, I had mine decaf. Want a change of pace? Try the “Greek Style” pancakes. It’s hard to choose the right pastry they are all such yummy fresh baked goods, I give you the nod to have two. Enjoy solo or with a friend in the comfy seating options. The food is excellent. Beverages were also good. Loved the ambience. Service is good too. Lots of places to sit but its pretty packed during the day due to many office buildings around that area. Its hard to find meter parking on the street. The garage is $12/hr. I recommend this place if you are looking to try something new. We didn’t try any bakery item. Breakfast items are served all day.

I’ve been having breakfast here every morning during my stay in Bethesda. Cozy place, great and fast service and very tasty pastries, egg-style breakfasts, and sandwiches. Highly recommended!

I really like this place! It was a nice atmosphere with a great menu. I really liked my "egg in a hole" bagel - would definitely buy it again! There was a little bit of a wait for the bathroom since there's only two single stalls available, but other than that, I really liked it here and would certainly come back!

I liked their mixed seasonal fruit box, so I went back for it the next time I was around there. The cheesecake and apple cake were also good. I'll come back here, or their other branches whenever there's one nearby.

Came here for the first time for Sunday brunch around 12pm. Super busy, but we were able to get a spot, ordered food and got it all really fast. Our server Ibrahim was very helpful and kind, which elevated the entire experience significantly. We ordered a lamb hash (DELICIOUS) and shakshuka (was too liquid and needed more potatoes or something of texture in it, but still was delicious).

The deserts look amazing and we will definitely be back here again! Give Ibrahim a raise 😁

We visited this place for a quick breakfast while traveling.. I had the croissant sandwich and my husband had the smoked salmon sandwich. It was a toss up which was better...easily the best breakfast sandwiches we ever had! My daughter loved the French Toast. Great atmosphere, quick service, and delicious food. Will definitely return if in the area again.

Love this breakfast cafe. Their cappuccino and mocha are really good. Even it is really crowned, the service is fast. It is all good vibes, just sitting and relaxing. They have both indoor and outdoor seatings. I will definitely come back again soon.
