Indianapolis - Madison Ave BMV Branch

This South side location puts in work. My experience overall was very good considering it's a state government service provided to the general public at large. I was in and out no problem, however I did have all required documents to keep the process going smoothly. All in all I was satisfied.

I thought my experience would be poor, as going to other branches of the dmv have resulted in horrendous wait times and rude staff. I was pleasantly surprised at the wait time, the haste of the staff and just how kind and friendly the lady I interacted with. Going to the dmv is a chore, but if you are going to go to, go to this one.

Nice place that is super fast no wait time.

Fast service and friendly staff. It took me 28 minutes to get a new license and registration on a Thursday afternoon.

A stress free and efficient experience. The people were very nice, and helpful answering questions since I just moved states.

They are so kind , treat people with respect . Just in case someone was wondering . They are not open on Saturdays but are open on Mondays. Memorial holiday weekend they will be open regular hours on Friday but they will be closed the following Monday though .

Fastest BMV in Indianapolis. Probably the fastest in the whole state of Indiana very friendly people got greeted as soon as I get walked through the door an was in n out in 5 minutes I renewed my resignation all the rest of the BMV'S need to take lessons from this one to do their job right

No one ever seems to have a good experience at a BMV but sometimes I think that’s because we forget we’re all human. Deidre just helped me out with a lost registration in the mail. She was KIND and was smiling and was patient with me as I explained myself. I appreciate anyone who can do that after a long and busy day. Thank you Deidre and thank you Madison BMV

Eow! This location is huge and amazing. Everyone is so helpful and polite. I was in and out of here. Definitely going to be my first choice when I have to actually go to the BMV. THEY HAVE 24 HOUR KIOSKS INSIDE. I have to say it's really nice and new in here. If you would like to be in and out. This is the location to go!

Lines are long and inside seating limited with sanitizing after each person is helped. Masks are required at this time. Great professional service from the staff.

I had the most wonderful experience of my entire life at this BMV. The wait time was virtually 0 plus, I was taken care of in a very respectful and personable manner. Very pleased with my BMV experience this joyous afternoon.

Fast, efficient, but dont bother with small talk. They just pretended like they couldnt hear me or something .. it was on topic and i was hoping for them to elaborate with their expertise, but again and again, crickets. Oh well i guess they quickly did what they needed to legally, thats why 5 stars.

The Madison Ave branch is really quite good, although this branch has a very high volume. Today I was the 25th person in line, and I only waited about 30 minutes. At less busy times I've been in and out in 10 or 15 minutes. The branch is very well organized and they do very well, considering how busy they are.

In and out...staff were prompt and nice...just how we like it...thumbs up...total time start to finish...15 minutes at the most...prolly the best BMW in Nap..Hails...thank you Kindly Madison Ave license branch.

Great bmv fast and friendly service

During the pandemic they do amazing job. And practice so professionally. They limit the number of patrons inside and keep everyone else out. They disinfect EVERYTHING after EACH person. When I arrived I was given a number outside, so that I could sit in my car and relax until my turn comes, no need to stay under hot summer sun.
I saw every single one of officers to be so kind and prompt! Heather took care of my work very quickly.

This branch is by far the most knowledgeable and customer friendly of BMV in central Indiana. The reps and managers listen to and carefully review the documents. Refugees' rights and status are well understood and taken care of at the branch. Kudos! Bravos! And thank you for your continued service!
