Great rates & awesome staff!

My husband and I recently refinanced our vehicle, and transfered the title from him to me through the Rice Lake location. They told us we had to pay all new registration taxes like we were conducting a private party purchase, but later found out at the dmv to register that we didn't have to because we are married and exempt from paying taxes under these circumstances. When we brought the mistakes to their attention they developed an attitude with us and continued to tell us that we would only be reimbursed for the difference of what we payed the dmv and the amount we returned to the bank for reimbursement.
The employees here are incompetent, and can't own up to or apologize for their mistakes. This whole situation has caused my husband and I much inconvenience and stress.
The Manger should be much more knowledgeable in her field.

The employees at the Rice Lake location have no knowledge of the registration portion of a car loan. The manager and staff have attitude with you when a mistake made by THEM is brought to their attention.

The Manager always has to call someone else to resolve a problem.

They literally didn’t have anyone else to help in the bank while we were there but they acted like they are being bothered by the customer when they decide to use the premises.

Very disappointed. Don’t waste your time and money dealing with this location. (Rice lake)

Very disappointed with their transfer process from another institution. Hours on the phone to be told additional funds would be released, with no action. Onsite was the same. You would think that moving a large sum of money from one institution to theirs (with validated/certified checks) would be beneficial to their business.

No. I was Immediately met with scrutiny, like I was trying to deposit fraudulent checks.

I would recommend searching for alternatives in Rice Lake and the surrounding area. I know I am.

Another failure again tonight. No after hour customer support? Really? Is this a legitimate credit union? Our money is basically being held hostage with ZERO potential to communicate with them.

Unforgivable. I’m done.
