Village Dell & Wine Shop

Great selection of wine, beer and spirits. Very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful staff. I am a wine person myself, and I am always impressed with the extensive selection. I have lived in bigger metro areas and the Village Dell has as good, if not better selection as the bigger city stores. And the customer service and knowledge is second to none. I highly recommend.

I just love going here! They have so many cool items besides just alcohol. Today I purchased a mixture to make scones or should I say chocolate chip caramel scones. Plus 2 new freezer glasses to keep your beer chilled or milk cold. Which Is what I use them for! I think everybody should check this place out at least once... But I know you will go back because it's just that nice of a place! Plus the owners and staff are extremely helpful and overall friendly kind people!

Super friendly, great selection of beer, wine, liquor, coffee, cigars, etc. Very knowledgeable of everything they sell. Everything they had out on the floor for beer, they had cold in the back. I wish I had a store like this around me. If I could give it more than five stars, I would in a heartbeat.

We love this place! They have everything you could ever want and more. If it's not on the shelf, they'll look it up and call you when it comes in. This is definitely my kind of small town business! 😊

The owners are fantastically friendly and knowledgeable. My wife found a delicious decaf coffee that we will be back for, and I was able to find my favorite bourbon on the shelf as well. We're planning on making more stops in the future.

Steve and Cindy always know how to help you find the right cigar, whisky, wine, coffee or beer. So much more here to see than just liquor.

SUPERB SERVICE. I recently went there to get a larger basket for a benefit. I had purchased most all of the items for the basket at a different liquor store but needed it to be shrink wrapped etc . The lady (Cindy) I believe, said she would help me , she used the same basket... ITEMS LOOKED GREAT!!! Although I didn't purchase the items there, she had no hesitation in helping me out and putting together a fabulous looking gift basket. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Really good selection! They had gotten a bottle of Booker's that day, and I was able to snatch it up quickly! The proprietor was extremely nice and knowledgeable, and their bourbon selection was solid. Highly recommended.

Cindy is so welcoming and knowledgeable. I appreciate their knowledge of their products that they sell. It's nice to be able to go into somewhere that actually knows the backstory on their products and how to properly make them. We actually have their coffee at our shop for our customers and we get unlimited comments about how it's the best coffee ever. They know their business and that's why they're here! I have lived in Rice Lake thirty years and Steve and Cindy are outstanding people who run an exemplary business with outstanding service and product. I have experienced that consistently every time I visited.. They have a wonderful knowledge of wines and coffee ( I'm sure of beer too but I'm not a beer aficionado). They are near the Butcher Shop meat shop and these two outstanding local businesses deserve our community support in these difficult times.

We bought all our beer and wine for our wedding here and it was great working with them through every aspect of the planning. We were even able to return our untapped kegs. They also helped us rent a beer trailer and delivered everything we needed, great experience all around!

Great place, big selection of alcohols and a nice coffee corner where you can purchase bags of freshly ground. Owner is very knowledgeable.

The very definition of customer service and they have alcohol, chocolate, and coffee to boot! Truly care about each of their customers. Friendly, Knowledgeable, and sometimes you just want to go for the greeting and smile you'll wear as you leave. Truly wonderful people from owners to employees! Village Dell is a little diamond in the rough in the town of Rice Lake! Cindy is incredibly knowledgeable about wines and knows her stuff!! I went in to find a particular wine and even though they didn't have it she pointed me in the direction of a similar and very tasty wine. And also offered to order in what I was looking for. I highly recommend if you are looking for something special, to go in and check their selection out. Tons to choose from with the knowledge to back it.
