The Red Barn at Hampshire College

We cannot recommend The Red Barn highly enough! We were lucky enough to have Ella as our coordinator and she was an absolute DREAM to work with. From the time we booked until the end of our perfect day she was there keeping us on track and solving problems that had not even existed yet. She did an amazing job taking our decorations and making the space come to life and was incredibly flexible and efficient when the weather decided to take a turn for the worst at the last minute. Despite all morning being beautiful and sunny, Ella was still concerned about the chance of rain, so she set up the ceremony space BOTH inside and outside. This genius move allowed us to decide where our ceremony would be held literally as the bus was pulling in with our guests. Our wedding day would not have been nearly as perfect without Ella! The space itself is beautiful and having the tent over the deck gave guests the perfect place to cool down after hitting the dance floor. Our guests are still talking about the food. You seriously do not expect meals at a wedding to be THIS good. The bar staff also get a huge shoutout, they were friendly and worked so quickly there was hardly ever a line. If you are considering booking The Red Barn for your big day, we 100% recommend them.

I could literally write a book about The Red Barn at Hampshire college. For starters: request Brittany if possible. She was the most responsive, kind, personable, organized human I’ve met. She kept my mind at ease during this entire process. Planning a wedding is not easy, but Brittany went above and beyond to help every step of the way. The venue is to die for. Unfortunately the weather did not hold up for us to have the ceremony outside however do not underestimate the beauty inside. It really does have the best of both worlds. The food was amazing!! I had so many people tell me how good it was. I am overall super happy with how everything turned out. Don’t wait to book them.

The place is gorgeous in the fall. The large tree in the field is a welcome sight as well. I cant say I liked the food though but its a personal preference. Overall my experience has been very good.

The Red Barn at Hampshire College was an absolute dream to work with! From the very beginning, they were easy to work with, very responsive, and were one of the few venues that would allow us the freedom to decorate so that we could have the wedding that we've always dreamed of. Brittany, our wedding coordinator, was excellent.... always checking with us as we got closer to the wedding and made sure every detail was perfect. It ended up being quite a rainy day and Brittany remained positive and optimistic. When we had to pivot to an inside ceremony, they turned that room into the most beautiful ceremony site!!! Every guest raved about the food (it was incredible) and how beautiful the venue was! The service staff, bartenders, the assisting coordinators, and the evening site manager were attentive and willing to go the extra mile to make sure our guests were comfortable and the evening ran smoothly.

We had our wedding here in 2017 and it could not have been more perfect!

My son's wedding was held here. It is a terrific venue. Service was great and it was beautiful. Loved the layout and made for great space to dance plus bridal party used the large room downstairs. Highly recommend it.

I cannot say enough about the fabulous work done by the staff at The Red Barn at Hampshire College. Brittany was our coordinator and did a phenomenal job. She was prompt with responding to emails. She carefully organized and put together all our details for our big day. Brittany was a tremendous help throughout our entire planning process. On our wedding day, Brittany and the staff set up our decorations perfectly. All the staff was courteous and attentive, especially Jim the manager. Our guests raved about the food and the venue; saying that this was the best wedding venue they've ever been to. I HIGHLY recommend having your wedding at The Red Barn. It's an unforgettable experience. They made our wedding day absolutely perfect!!

Our wedding at the Red Barn June 2017 was absolutely magical. The staff was incredible to work with over the year of planning. Each email and phone call was promptly returned and courteously addressed. While they do hundreds of weddings throughout the year they truly understand that it is your one special day and go above and beyond to make it just that. I would like to particularly think Bridget for being such amazing coordinator. Every little detail was taken care of so we could enjoy our big day. The food was amazing and many of my wedding guest commented to me how it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. Not only is the setting beautiful, but it is definitely one of the most affordable venues in Western Massachusetts. I highly recommend this venue and will always be willing to answer questions from the perspective of a bride. Cheers and thank you to the Red Barn for the best day of my life.

Our daughter got married here, on July 31, 2016... The setting is superb, if
you like nature, open fields, views of surrounding mountain ranges, and a big, spreading Chestnut tree on a gentle hilltop, under which the a ceremony is held.
Could not be happier. The management is also tops!!

What a space! This venue has everything you'd want! A parking lot, a big upstairs for performances, dances, etc. The downstairs is wonderful as well, which includes comfortable meeting space with a refrigerator, couches, and space to store belongings, instruments, whatever! It's a little tricky to find (you have to leave campus) but other than that, golden venue.

Great place for an event. I attended a wedding here and the facilities were great. Air conditioning in the reception hall and good food. They had a complimentary house cocktail which wasn't strong but was reeeally good. The only thing that wasn't on point was the fennel hor d'oeuvre. I love endives and pickled veggies, but they ruined it with about a quarter cup of mayo on each endive leaf. Ugh.

A fantastic wedding event without a hitch. Ella & crew were incredible from the moment the day started until the last guest left 10/10
