Zwanger Pesiri Radiology - Smithtown West

For as many years as I can remember, I've always chosen Zwanger Pesiri for any tests done- from MRIs, CAT scans to Sonograms.
I actually look forward to going there. That sounds odd, but I know I'll be taken care of and they'll be a report very soon.
A couple of days ago there was a concern, so I called Zwanger less than 2 days ago and They were able to schedule all three tests together and have me come in ASAP. I thought it was amazing; how they got all the tests to be performed around the same time. I was told that all tests would be completed around 3:30 p.m.
I left the office at 2:50 p.m.!
Their service is Remarkable.
I can't even imagine why anyone would give less than 5*****
That is bewildering.
The entire staff is extremely pleasant. The place is immaculate. Mammograms used to hurt many years ago, but they do not hurt anymore, or at least when I had them done at Maple Avenue Smithtown and the Smithtown West office.
The Technicians are fantastic. I'm 100% satisfied with their work, their service and their genuine concern. Thank you so much to the entire staff.

The office is very clean with nice decor. They offer lockers for you to put all belongings. This was my first MRI so I was a little nervous. The MRI tech that took care of me was Laura. She was AMAZING!!! So personable and friendly. Throughly explained every step of the process which put me at ease. It was quick, easy and overall a great experience thanks to Laura :)

I have never met anyone like Michelle when I had my breast biopsy, she was so sweet and so caring. She made me feel so relaxed and calm kept asking me if I was ok. Dr. Dorfman was wonderful too and so caring he was telling me everything that he was doing like Michelle explained to me . He also kept asking me if I was ok and would tell me when he was finished with each one. I would absolutely highly recommend this office. After the biopsies I had to get another mammogram and I didn’t get the girls name but she too was so caring and asked if I was ok and comfortable. I’ve never met people who care so much about their patients like they did. And I thank all of you!

It is a pleasure to tell you that the Staff at Zwanger-Pesiri is dedicated to making your experience here as pleasant as possible. It begins when you walk in the door as someone greets you and welcomes you to their office. I thought that it was nice that since my test was upstairs
I was escorted to the room by an employee.
I would be very happy to encourage my friends and family to call Zwanger whenever they are in need of X-rays, sonography studies, etc.

First time at this location, and probably my last.
Bad signage, rude staff. I just hope they didn't screw up my images. I'd really hate to have to go back.

Horrible treatment and no value for your time. Be warned. They don’t care.

Intentionally wasted 1 hour and 20 minutes of someone’s time because they decided that me being 5 minutes late (no exaggeration) was cause to take people with a later appointments ahead of me. The waiting room was empty when I got there. This was totally spiteful from the tech. After I was already waiting for 10 minutes, someone filling out paper work who showed up 15 minutes after me was taken.

Without even telling me they pushed me back 1hour and 20 minutes.

Reception kept telling me I’m next and it won’t be long. But when I told them I was leaving they had said I was scheduled for 11:20. Seriously?!

Poorly managed. Poor decision of the tech. I left angry. I felt like this was intentionally done. No value for my time.

When I walked in and all paperwork was done in advance online. I took off work and pushed back meetings as this ran late. Only to find out that the tech told me she took people with later appointments because I was late. Seriously I was in that office at 10:05. Check your security footage.

100% fail of the Zwanger team at this location. Disrespectful of peoples time. They should have told me they pushed me back 1 hour and 20 minutes. They hid that information and kept telling me it won’t be long.

I walked out. I did not get my MRI there. I will reschedule with another company.

I was very disappointed with the technician performing a Doppler of both legs. I am 81 years old and when the test was completed, I was told there are paper towels, you can wipe off the gel and leave when you are ready. I arrived with a walker and explained that I had arthritis in my knee. The technician offered no assist to help me get up after the test until I asked for help. She raised the table so I could reach the handicapped bar. I was grateful that I remembered to bring a grabber so I could use the paper towels to dry off huge globs of blue gel which covered my entire legs to the ankles and behind the knees. I have never had this kind of experience at Zwanger Pesiri before. I am disappointed.
I did call public relations...got a tape...left my number...never got a call!
