This place is AMAZING. the milk tea is so good and the brown sugar boba are awesome. Super chill and comfortable atmosphere. great place to come on a. Rainy do or after a long day at work or to work at. In my opinion it has a better atmosphere for working than a coffee shop. Parking was very available and the workers are super nice and will try to help u as best they can. If they got something wrong they are willing to remake it for no extra cost.

Service was efficient and had no issue ordering. Came to get a sparkling passion fruit tea. Really delish. Location was nice, as well as its decoration. The barista was attentive and friendly. Def will be back.

I've only been here once so far, but they're off to a good start. First, their milk tea is lactose free, but they do have a sign saying their milk tea contains peanuts (I'm not sure if the peanut is in some or all of the drinks). I tried the tiramisu milk tea (without ice and boba). I was not disappointed. It had a great flavor and the top was finished with a denser whipped top. I'd recommend mixing that in because a lot of the tiramisu flavor is in that. The atmosphere was simple, clean, and good for talking. The drink was done quickly and the workers were helpful.

Milk tea yummy
caramel cheese tea was good but tasted like milk teaa
big range of options.
The people working there are so nice. I recommend knowing what you want to order or skim through the menu a bit before going, if not then the menu might seem a bit overwhelming because of how many different options there are. Might come again and try other thingsssss.

Beautiful restaurant, they didn’t offer any other dairy-free milk alternatives which is fine, because they do have other drinks that did not need milk that were just as tasty. It was a nice surprise to find out some drinks had fruit in them. The fruit was my favorite part of the whole experience ordering from this location.

S-Tier Milk tea place (and we have tried almost every single one in the DMV), my wife and I go here almost every weekend. A consistent milk tea is a good milk tea, and Ben Gong’s really delivers on that front. We have seen a lot of new staff over the time they have been open, but their drinks almost always stays true to their flavor. Their milk tea is very balanced when it comes to the milk tea base, and the topping you add along with it, layering beautifully in your mouth. My personal favorite these days has been their Osmanthus Sweet Frement Rice drink (picture below). This place is a must try, don’t be dissuaded by the one star reviews, go for the tea and you won’t be disappointed!

Great taste!!!!! Friends say this is the best milktea in DMV and I bet it is!
Milktea has much of tea flavor but not watery, balance between milk and tea is perfect!!!
I must try the cheese smoothies next time!

Ben Gong's is the best milke tea in the area. I love drinking milk tea from here. They always have something new to try. People who are lactose intolerant just like me, try their mile tea they use lactose free milk. Gotta love them for using good ingredients!

Great tea option, has some unique flavors and the tea is very quality. The interior is kept super clean, and service is always great, the person helping us was really friendly and had a lot of insight into flavors and had recommendations for us. Only complaint is that it's on the pricier end of bubble tea cafes.

This was my first time trying out this place and I wasn't too sure how they menu were sorted. I simply got a Matcha Milk Tea but for some reason I asked for no sugar. I tried it and I couldn't taste a single flavor at first so I decided to put 50% sugar inside without additional charges which fixed it for me. Yes, you do get to choose how much sugar you want in your beverage based on percentages. After I got my drink I hung out with my friends in their comfortable seating area. I would recommend here if you are stopping by for dessert after having a meal or to simply hang out with your folks.

I love this place. Must try their new taro ice cream. It is very creamy and delicious. Lychee jelly on top is also delicious and goes together very well. Must try

The flavor was amazing. It was sweet, cold, and refreshing. It tasted perfect: brown sugar sweetness and just enough sugar. The tea was just strong enough, and the boba completed the whole thing and brought the flavors together.

I like boba tea and this place has a lot of options to choose from. My favorite is tiramisu, I order it every time, but have to mind my calories 😉. Good place, my favorite so far even though not close to home, which saves me from going there more often than I should 😁

Been here twice, got Jasmine tea w regular boba 50% sweet. Yum! Can really taste the Jasmine tea which is the most important. If you like kung fu, kokee, or other similar shops better, you must like sweet things. So don't review it based on that, just click away. Unless you got some expired milk or poor service.

Please listen when they say they pit effort into the tea and quality ingredients.

I got the brownsugar dahongpao milk tea, 0% sweetness the other day, it was good too. But I like Jasmine tea more 🤗. The brown sugar boba is great though, there really is a difference in the regular boba.

Next time I'll get Jasmine w brown sugar boba. Yum!

Ben Gong’s Tea in Centreville is a small shop hidden on the right side of the strip mall it is located in. The atmosphere is cute, with nice lighting and some limited selection of chairs to hang out at.

My experience with the milk teas is limited, but from what I can speak to - the Tiramisu special milk tea is amazing if you can get it while the boba is fresh and soft. There is also a student discount for 10%

Things that could be improved:

Not enough seating for peak times
App experience/getting points is kind of weird
