It was pretty crowded when we went in today about 10:00am, but we were seated immediately.

For our meal, we both ordered the same thing: Egg skillet with scrambled eggs and we shared a side of bacon. It was delicious, food was nice and hot and prepared fresh for us.

Our server was super sweet and all the staff had smiles on their faces which is an absolute pleasure to see.

The restaurant was really clean and bright and open. We will definitely be back.

All American Diner Done Right

First time visit. Very impressed. Appreciation has a lot to do with recognizing what experience you’re involved in.
Diner experience. The offerings are standard fare, with a few southern twists. The portions are generous, the food flavorful and the service friendly and relaxed.
Our waitress was warm and helpful, but not obtrusive. Plates were cleared in true team fashion by various staff members, refills were timely and the meal…delicious.
The tables around us were all clearly enjoying their meal’s as well. The exterior and interior were clean and tidy (restroom was a bit untidy due to a careless guest who had thrown paper towels on the floor).
We were asked by three different people how our visit was going. Always a good sign.
Arrive with extra time, as there is apparently always a wait. When we arrived it was pouring rain and still a wait for a table. Another good sign.
Will go back, and hat’s off to the management for hiring good staff and training them well.
So refreshing in the post pandemic world!

Finally, a great diner where you can find good food, a good atmosphere, great service, and great coffee in Charlotte. The size of the servings were very generous and the food tasted great. This was my first time here, and I had to wait a little bit when I arrived. I am glad I did not walk out and go elsewhere. Reminds me of a diner in NY.

We are so happy to have finally tried this little gem that apparently is no secret! ;-) We went for Sunday breakfast, and there was a 25-minute wait, but man, was it worth it! The atmosphere is fun and lively, and the food is not only plentiful but deeeelish! Their biscuits and sausage gravy are humongous and homemade, and the orange juice is fresh-squeezed. We sat beside someone who ordered the Berry-licious French Toast (Big Stack), and I had to snap a pic because it blew my mind.
The owner wanders about speaking to customers and keeping the flow of tables going, so even if there is a wait, it will not take long. If you have ever been to Breakfast Time, you will find Stacks similar, but better.
100% recommended!

10/10! It was packed with a long waitlist but they still seated us very quickly. The food came out in no time too! And boy was it delicious. Best breakfast from a restaurant hands down. And really decent pricing. Our waitress, Yolanda, was amazing!! Highly recommend Stacks!

A great spot for breakfast - the fresh squeezed OJ is a particularly wonderful treat! My only request is the possibility of ordering real maple syrup instead of the artificial stuff (I'm happy to pay extra!).

Great food and reasonable prices.

Some of the best fries I have had in a long time. Everyone in our party was extremely happy with both the quality and quantity of the food.

The only downside with this restaurant is that they are extremely popular.

There was a 30-45 minute wait when we visited, and parking in the small shopping center they are in is very limited.

Great place that never fails to deliver great service and great food for an amazing price!

Edit: Here again. This time on a Saturday. Half an hour wait BUT so worth it! Still great service and great food! This time, I got the Big Daddy Skillet and fresh squeezes OJ. I may be in Heaven!

Everything was so good. I found this place on Tik Tok and it did not disappoint!! You must try the blueberry pancakes and the biscuit and gravy is the best! And the prices were very reasonable

The French toast is amazing!!! Everything I ordered was super delicious. I got the south of the border omelette biscuit and gravy and french toast.

Best breakfast restaurant I've experienced within Charlotte, the staff are very friendly and welcoming! The food is in my opinion the best I've had the pleasure to experience. There is a wait time depending on the day you come in usually on weekends there is a wait but I've never had to wait too long. I recommend trying the French toast and big daddy skillet!

My mom and I ate here for the first time today. We are from the Hickory area and had to come to Charlotte. During one of our stops, we inquired with someone about a good place close by to eat breakfast. So glad we took their advice. It was absolutely delicious! There was about a 20 min wait to get a table, but well worth it to say the least. We will be coming back in the future. It's definitely worth making an hour drive just to eat there again!

We came to Stacks for the first time around noon on a Sunday. There was of course a wait, but it was SO worth it. The food was absolutely delicious -the best egg sandwich we've found since we left NY two years ago. If you're lucky enough to have Yolanda as your server, you're in for a good day, she's just awesome.

My first time and definitely won’t be my last! I visited after watching a review on Instagram from Mr. Chimetime. The service alone was EXCELLENT. It was nice to see staff that were friendly to the customers AND with each other. The price point is great especially for the amount of food you receive. I ordered the stuffed French toast and it was delicious. I also ordered a side of bacon and hashbrowns and the hashbrowns had a plate of their own because it was so large. That’s what I’m talking about! Highly recommend!

Great turkey croissant with cranberry sauce. Spouse enjoyed meatloaf and mashed potatoes. Kudos to our great waitress, Litsie. 9o

The food was wonderful and filling! The service was good and the price was very reasonable. I bought breakfast for myself and my adult daughter and I believe our meals in total were at $30. There was a short wait but it was worth it. The portions were large. We couldn't eat it all. I had one of the scramble plates. I think it was called the Big Daddy. It came with a biscuit that was light and fluffy. The sausage in the scramble was amazing and packed with flavor! My daughter had an omelet that was huge. We will definitely return when I am in town. I thought I liked another local restaurant that specializes in biscuits but this was waaay better!

First time being there, My coworker told me about Stacks months ago and every time I was in the area something would always keep me making it there
Today was the day and it was great all the way around.
Everything I tasted seemed made in house.
I had 3 scrambled eggs 2 blueberry pancakes one biscuit and gravy and hash browns (I was hungry) It was delicious. The staff was super nice and the front end kept things moving nicely. I’ll definitely be back

This was my first time at Stacks so I'll get straight to the point. The food is absolutely delicious! I love the fresh produce and ingredients used. Its like haveing a home cooked meal.

The staff and service are friendly, attentive and personal. They take the time to know you it makes you feel like family. The atmosphere is communal, and fun.

It's a cozy place great for families. I'm definitely putting Stacks on my top spots list.

This place is so busy that the parking lot is unable to sustain all the traffic from people trying to get in and enjoy the food. Yolanda was an exceptional waitress except for a miscommunication about having southern fried taters vs hashbrowns. Haha 😄 🤣 Food was absolutely delicious and we got it very quickly especially considering how busy they were on a Saturday Morning.
