Jekyll and Hyde Taphouse Grill

One of my fave restaurants in Matthews! I love the ambience and the food is always so tasty! I enjoy the different food options they have compared to other restaurants. They always have fun new drinks on the menu and even beer flights. Also the staff is super friendly and attentive.

Incredible food, presentation, and an outrageous beer selection. We were delighted to find crispy fried pickle spears on the menu- our favorite appetizer. The 1885 chicken is absolutely a must order. Partners burger looked delicious as well!

There is nothing scary about this pub located in Matthews NC. The food was excellent, well seasoned and plated with all the feel of a fine dining restaurant. Their spirits have a nice presentation and the sangria was a sweet touch to my meal. We enjoyed the outdoor seating and our server was very attentive. High five on this location, I’m sure I’ll be back.

When we go out of town we like to try new places. The menu looked good so we decided to try it. There was no waiting to be seated which was great. We were seated but no one greeted our table for a while. I got up and spoke to a waitress about our issue. She said she will take care of us for the night and apologized for what happened earlier even though it was not her fault at all. Madi did a wonderful job and turned our experience around to be a memorable moment! Food was very tasty also. We would go back to try other items from the list.

Absolutely loved the bar food at this place! From wings to bangers and mash, and that pretzel—delicious! With over 30 beers on tap, every sip was a delight. Their tequila selection is fantastic too. The attentive staff made the experience even better, and the manager even put on my Knicks game! Can't wait to go back!

Incredible food and fantastic service! Nice atmosphere too - not too light or dark. The craft beer selection was large and versatile - the pumpkin beer with the cinnamon/sugar/caramel (yes, caramel!) rim was divine. It was our first time and we were blown away! Highly recommend you try this place - we are already planning a trip back!

Awesome restaurant theme and decor. Everything we tried was delicious. Quick and attentive wait staff. Outside and inside seating. The area around/near the restaurant has an awesome downtown look and feel.

Went to Jekyll and Hyde Taphouse Grill for a work luncheon and had a wonderful experience. Nice vibe / atmosphere, friendly service, and great food and drinks. The chicken sandwich and sweet potato fries were hot and fresh, the green monster drink was mixed well, and the dessert was sweet and creamy. 👌🏽

First time here. We had great service. Food was decent. Liked the BLT chopped salad and the kids chicken fingers were delicious. We thought the "nachos" were okay, probably won't get them again. Overall good experience.

Great place to have a drink or 2 and catch up with friends. Service is absolutely great! Bartenders are patient and friendly.

Third time here. The selection of beer is unbelievable. Burgers are top notch. Decor and atmosphere are amazing. The only complaint I have is that the drink menu is only digital and you must use your phone. I had hard time scanning and it took me 5 min to get it working. I asked for paper menu but i was told they dont have one. So 4.5 stars to you.

This was our third time at Jekyll & Hyde. We have loved it each time we visit! It is the first place we think of when wanting to take friends out somewhere new. Their cocktails are so fun, the food is consistently good (I highly recommend the chicken & risotto), and the atmosphere is great. A little loud at times, but that just shows you how much fun people are having! Cam was our server Friday night and he made sure we were very well taken care of. Can’t wait to come again!

I don't have one bad thing to say about this restaurant. Cody, our incredible waiter, was patient, well-versed and what he did, and very very fun. We had a table of 10 women, nine of whom drank a lot. Cody was patient and had a great time with us and I highly recommend anybody who goes there to ask for Cody by name. The food was to die for. Please make sure you get the pimento cheese balls because wow.

Had a cream ale from Kentucky that was phenomenal. I did not know I even liked cream ales. The nachos are unique being potatoes. The cheese on them is something I have never tried before.

Mother's Day, Belmont location:
Off the charts courtesy. Moms were politely greeted with a free flower. Atmosphere was fun & funky. A great amount of servers kept everyone happy.
Food was amazing! The steak & arugula salad was a fantastic meal. Mother's Day brunch was flavorful, too.
I wished I lived closer & would become a regular.

We just had a 5 star lunch at Jekyll and Hyde! The covered pet friendly patio was a perfect first outing with our new puppy. The hostess went out of her way to get us a great table and Savannah, our server, was super attentive! She kept our glasses filled and we never wanted for anything during our lunch.

The kitchen nailed our order even with a few special requests. Jay loved his Croque Madame brunch dish and our pretzel appetizer was super hot and YUMMY. My steak arugula flatbread was also a well-conceived and delicious dish!

I'm already excited about our next visit!

Went last evening with a friend. Great food and service, loved the restaurant. Ill definitely be back. Fish and chips were the best I've had. Chocolate cake was outstanding

A regular stop on our dining rotation. Always a good meal with a great variety of drinks. Often we go with friends, but tonight it was just my wife and I for dinner. Good as always, with half price wine bottles on Wednesday and a great selection of beers. Kaylee was our server and was attentive and knowledgeable. She checked back in with us and refreshed our drinks. She offered dessert options and was engaging while she was at the table. Overall a great experience.
