Advantage Electric

We worked with 3 different companies for commercial electrical services and without a doubt Advantage was the best. Punctuality, prices, service, communication, knowledge, etc. The technicians were Chris and Jake but I’m sure that any other technician from this company has the same standards of quality and service. It is worth mentioning that Ashley was always very patient with me in each of the services requested.

I had an emergency and they were third call trying to reach other 24/7 electric care. They called back in a few minutes of messaging them. It was 3 hours for one of the other companies and 2 hours for the other one to call me back. My issue was resolved before those return calls. I appreciated the promptness. The company followed up after to check on my service experience. This company is efficient, compassionate to the emergent situation, polite and great to work with. I recommend them without reservation.

Excellent service Nice young man explained everything he was doing, he even installed 4 smoke detectors which was not part of the original service call. I am going to have 3 ceiling fans installed at a later date and will be requesting Griffin Strunk to do that also. On a scale of 1-10 he gets a 12 thanks Griffin we appreciate you!

Advantage Electric was great! Griffin came out to help us install an induction stove where we previously had gas. He was very friendly and willing to answer all our questions, not only about the stove and our current setup, but also how we might support future extensions, like an electric car. I always appreciate when people are willing to take extra time to make sure we understand and talk though things with us. Can't recommend them highly enough!

I've used Advantage for several small jobs over the last 7 or 8 years and always been very happy with them. A couple weeks ago I needed someone on short notice and they were able to come out two days later, and handled it quickly. They will keep being the first electricians I call when I have issues in the future.

I love this company. We live in south Minneapolis and have trusted this company with rewiring our entire 100+ year old home and running Ethernet cable throughout the house. They have come to fix the work of multiple electical companies mess ups in our home. They are professional, reliable and thorough with the challenges of a job. I will never again let another electrician do a job at my house that isn’t part of the Advantage team.

Ashley took my phone call and was very helpful. She dispatched Mark, who came in a jiffy during off hours as we had an immediate need. He was knowledgeable and worked quickly. I had a great experience with Advantage Electric when upgrading my electrical service to 200 amps in a 1949 St. Louis Park home. Griffin and his crew were very efficient, friendly and took the time to answer any and all questions we had. He even offered to run power to our router while we were without electricity so we could get some work done. I would absolutely recommend Advantage and will surely consider them for any future electrical projects I have around the house!

We recently had Advantage Electric install an electric dryer outlet. The communication, people, and service were excellent! Starting off with Anna from scheduling to Mark and Nate for the installation. After the dryer arrived and later plugged in, the circuit tripped. A quick call to Anna had her contacting the electricians for guidance. Brook thought it was likely how the power cord was installed. I sent a photo of the the cord connections and it came back with that something looked incorrect with the ground. Set up another appointment to have this corrected. But, with this information and the manual, we were able to correct the cord and that fixed the issue and canceled this appointment. Truly appreciated the time taken to assure that we had a working dryer in no time, especially since the error with the cord was not done by them. Fantastic service and we will call them again!

Griffin was a pleasure to work with. From the start he was professional and friendly. His work was thorough and he patiently took the time needed to make sure I understood how everything worked. I would definintely recommend Advantage Electric for all your electrical needs!

Brooks was Extremely Friendly, Professional, Efficient and On Time. We lost power in the bathroom only and he did a full Safety check of fuse panel and all the outlets in the house. He found the problem updated the outlet and lights witch as well as another that was in poor condition. He also advised to update for Safety( not an immediate issue) a few areas which we will do another day for sure! They were extremely flexible with trying to meet our date and time constraints.
Brooks was very helpful in advising us about Safety when and if we use extension cords as well as other additional lighting and light switch issues.
We will use again without a doubt and refering our Friends 100%

This is my second go with Advantage Electric, and I requested the same electrician that serviced my home the first time, and the first contact representative made that happen!

Advantage helped us quickly when we were in a bind! Another electrician installed a bathroom ceiling vent for us, but they did not properly seal the roof vent which unfortunately allowed water into our home. Advantage came out to rectify the issue within hours of my call. They were efficient, took helpful photos, explained what the former person did wrong, and explained what they did to fix it. Next time, we will be calling Advantage first. Highly recommend!

We had such a great experience with Advantage Electric ! They installed a new 20 amp socket for a sauna and I was shocked with how easy the process was. They added a new circuit breaker, and ran a wire within the walls with very minimal visual damage. The price was very reasonable and everything works perfectly, thanks so much!

I had a collection of electrical work for my house that I had been putting off. Advantage Electric's team was efficient, clean, and informative. Jake did a great job estimating the work and giving me an accurate quote with options to remove pieces to save money. Jason, Griffin, Mark, and Chris all helped out throughout two days to complete all the work; dealing with annoying old home things well. They kept me informed throughout the process of what was happening and was considerate of power outages affecting wi-fi in case I was working from home on a call. There was a bit of miscommunication with the scheduling of the inspection but they were very responsive to my questions. Will definitely recommend and use Advantage again in the future.

Needed troubleshooting for an outdoor outlet and also installed 2 new outlets (one indoor and one outdoor). Work was completed in a timely manner. Griffin communicated well throughout the whole process. Pricing was reasonable. Any mess was cleaned up prior to join completion. Would recommend and use again in the future.

Advantage Electric was professional and helpful as usual. I received a courtesy call before they arrived, they fixed the wiring in my bathroom, and the price on the original estimate didn’t fluctuate. They are top notch tradesmen.

Advantage Electric is fantastic. We had Jake, Griffin and Nate at our place for the day, and they knocked out a huge list of electrical wants — hanging a crazy heavy brass chandelier over a staircase, adding a bubble pendant to our track lighting, installing wall sconces, changing a floor outlet, installing a Nest doorbell, and adding extra sockets inside and out. Our house is old, and some of the fixtures were custom, so they had to get creative and MacGyver almost every single thing. All for a price that was exceedingly fair. These guys were fun to have here, and they were perfectionists in the best way. Case in point: They even reset the clocks on our appliances before they left. I'm actually looking forward to hiring them again.

Advantage did all the electrical for our kitchen remodel and have done some odd jobs since then. They are communicative, punctual, do a great job, and have fair pricing. I would definitely recommend them for all jobs.
