Buikema's Ace Hardware

I rarely go to ACE but this black Friday I've decided to walk in see what the have, well I came across this deal, and all I can say that is a crazy deal for a smoker like this. From now on, I will definitely stop by more often, friendly staff, pleasant environment, thank you.

On Oct. 29th I entered Ace not knowing how to solve my problem . I happened to meet Mike . Not only was he professional , but took my dilemma personal. He was determine to help me get to bottom of my problem. Great job Mike!

I always prefer to go to Ace when possible because you can get in and out quicker than the big box stores. Sometimes the help at this store is not as good as other Ace in the area, but still way better help than you will usually get in a big box store.

Sure you might pay a few dollars more on some items at Ace, but I don't mind paying a couple $ to save 20 mins of my time. The price on bigger items like grills is on par with the bigger guys. Better selection of mid to higher end grills and accessories too.

I had to get a car key made. Newer cars keys have chips to prevent theft. Bobby at ACE knew all the details and was a great help. ACE consistently has the most knowledgable staff.

This is a great local hardware store. It may not have everything that a Lowes or a Home Depot does, but it's got what I need 95% of the time. It's also a much more "human" experience with a comfortable store environment and friendly, knowledgeable staff.

We ordered on line for pickup. I needed to add an item. Kirsten went out of her way to find what I needed and add it to the order. The curbside service was great. We appreciated the extra effort.

Amazing place due to the young man named Ben. Helped me find every little thing I needed and then checked everything out. Due to my own lack of preparation, I had to make three trips to our local Ace. Every time I entered I was greeted with a smile and great service.

The people in this store are very helpful. I needed a small part for an old lamp and they had it. The workers are very attentive and go the extra mile to solve any need I have for fixing a problem in my house.

I came to this store looking for some PVC pipe and someone named Ben came to me and helped me. The pipe i was looking for was not right for the job i was doing and he helped me find the correct pipe! If he could see this I want to say, thank you! You really helped me!

They have a great assortment of hardware stuff and helpful staff wandering around wanting to give assistance. I have been patronizing this store for many years and am rarely disappointed with anything I bought here. My wife has been known to get stuff from the kitchen section of this store.

My 7 year old key for my 2012 Toyota Scion xB suddenly shattered while I was just holding it in my hand. I was down to one original key that was just as old and presumably fragile. An Ace store in Warrenville made a duplicate that turned the ignition but couldn't unlock the door. Other stores such as Walmart and Lowes didn't have key making equipment compatible with mine. A reputable locksmith with tons of great reviews in Angie's list wanted $75. I was resigned to paying $150 to a Toyota dealer, but I decided to try one last time.

Enter Quint (or Clint. Sorry man, I'm not exactly sure which is your name) of Buikema's Ace Hardware. This awesome young fellow whipped me up 3 fully functional duplicates within 10 minutes. All of these were only $6.42! Compare that to the $150 it would have cost me at the dealership. I can tell this young man will be going places. He's intelligent, hardworking, and is very knowledgeable. It is highly likely that it was the precision of his work thst made the difference. This young man should be promited, or at the very least, a commendation. Thank you Quint/Clint!

We visit the 75th Street location in Naperville frequently and Bob is always so helpful.
