If you're from NJ/NYC this place has all the sticks most of us from up north prefer. The owner is super hospitable, friendly, and has an amazing selection of cigars. Padron, Opus X, you name it he's got it!

Here on a brief vacation and stopped by for a rainy day cigar. Superb cigar selection! An eclectic group of local patrons each from varied backgrounds providing a rich and diverse array of interesting topics, specialized areas of knowledge and a wealth of local and worldly information. I highly recommend stopping by for a great smoke and some great conversation in an environment that is both welcoming and everything you would expect in a perfect and relaxing cigar smoking environment! I’ll be back next year!

I would like to start off by saying this was an amazing experience with this shop. I am fairly new to cigar smoking and don’t know a lot. The owner walked me through every step of the way and helped me through the entire experience of smoking it as well. He then invited me back into the lounge we’re he further answered all of my questions that arose. He is very knowledgeable and definetly knows what he is talking about. I had an amazing time with all of the gentlemen that were in there smoking. Come here if you want an amazing selection, amazing prices and most importantly stellar service and conversation. I would highly recommend this to anyone who has an interest in cigar smoking and I will for sure be back in the lounge again to have another cigar here. Thank you for the amazing experience!!

down at the beach for the week. Stop by on two afternoons and had a smoke in the lounge. Folks at the lounge are very welcoming. William has an excellent selection of cigars in his humidor with reasonable prices and he is very knowledgeable about cigars as well as a gracious host will certainly stop by here when I come back to the beach

Great tobacconist ,William is very knowledgeable about all aspects of cigars and pipes tobacco. He has a reasonable Selection of pipe tobacco. Hey cigar selection is very comprehensive and pricing is fair. A great place to spend a few minutes perhaps longer enjoying all the possibilities.

William has created an awesome space to buy and enjoy top shelf cigars and tobacco. The atmosphere is light and fun. William is a great sounding wall and can recommend sticks for the full spectrum of officianado's. Support Morehead City Cigar and Tobacco!!!

Amazing atmosphere and helpful staff. If you know cigars they have some of the best and if you're new to cigars they are willing and able to educate.

Great store and lounge. I started coming here a few weeks ago, and FINALLY found a great place to sit and have a smoke with a knowledgeable staff (Rob) that knows a hell of a lot about cigars. He helped me pick out some cigars initially, and then helped me pick out two boxes for some celebrations. I love sitting in the lounge a couple of days a week and chilling with some locals who make it a very comfortable place. Friday evenings are the best time to come, because that's when most of the regulars come up. But really, any time of the week or even day is a great time to come. If I had a cigar lounge like that in my house, I'd probably never leave the house. Again, I can't recommend MHC Cigars highly enough. Please go and see for yourself.

Dropped by Morehead City Cigar when I was on vacation. Great place, good selection and nice lounge area. Found a few cigars that my regular shop back home does not carry. The store owner was inviting and knowledgeable.

The best cigar shop I have ever visited. The owner is beyond helpful, and is incredibly knowledgeable. The atmosphere is very relaxed and is a great place to buy and smoke.

The owner is not only friendly, he is also very knowledgeable about all cigars and pipe tobacco. His shop is equipped with a Montecristo lounge to enjoy a good smoke with good folks.

Friendly and welcoming staff. Most of my experiences walking into a tobacco shop the first time is usually pretty cold. I'll definitely visit again.
