Dr. Schmiesing is sharp, caring, and truly wants the best for his patients. If you are an athlete, his goal is to keep you in your sport or get you back to your sport as quickly as possible. As a physical therapist and strength and conditioning specialist, I refer my clients to Dr. Schmiesing when out of my scope of practice.

Dr. Schmiesing replaced both of my hips this year. He's kind, he listens, and he's an AMAZING surgeon. The pain after surgery was very minimal with no complications. I'm looking forward to a much better quality of life with my new hips. Not sure why I waited so long! Thank you Dr. Schmiesing!

Saw Dr. Schmiesing for my son. He was so good with my son. Talked to him about his sports and listened to his long winded stories about baseball and his injury. He stayed interested and engaged with him the whole time. He was very knowledgeable about my son’s injury and explained things in easy terms. Talked through the plan for now and the plan for later if things don’t go well. I was very impressed with his knowledge but more impressed by his bedside manner.

My 89 year old mom had a bad spiral fracture in her right femur in Jan '22. Dr. Schmiesing went above and beyond in his care for her. His surgical skills are excellent, and he communicates with knowledge and compassion. He is truly one of a kind!
