Coming in from Texas, or was nice to have that good old comfort food and Waffle House ambiance you've grown up with...
Coming off a section hike of the Appalachian Trail, the steak & scrambled eggs with cheese, prefect hash browns, and tasty waffle were absolutely essential to breathing life back into me!

5☆- STAFF (cooking & serving) are so friendly! They talk to you like you're an old friend from the time you walk in the door.
4☆ - FOOD - It was good, maybe a tiny bit overcooked on the steak, but it could've been a chunk tire tread, and I would've eaten it after a 20mi day on the trail). As always, the hash browns are on point! Wish I could get them to turn out like that at home!
5☆ - Ambiance - it's NOT a 4 or 5 star restaurant... it's a Waffle House... plenty of REAL AMERICANS in the seats and American (country) music playing on the jukebox... exactly as you'd expect.

We really enjoy coming to Waffle House in Charles Town. The workers all get along, it's like family. They always make us feel welcomed and cared for. My food is hot off the grill and very good! This place is the best.

Always on point. It is always consistent. Waffles with peanut butter chips are worth any wait! The grits always have plenty of butter too!
The one gal that is usually cooking is friendly and the food is cooked right anytime shes there!

You can never go wrong with Waffle House. The food is great - ALWAYS! The value for you money is hard to beat. And We always get great service.

Today was the first time my family has ever eaten at a Waffle House. I wish we would have went sooner! The food was delicious! Our waitress, Misty, was very friendly. The food came out quickly and tasted great. Misty checked in with us quite often to see if we needed anything. The food was very reasonably priced. Can't wait to go back again 😊

Misty is always on top of it! We love her. Food is good as always. The boys got a waffle house hat and she informed us if they bring it next time they get a free waffle. How cool!

WOW, a new Waffle House in Charlestown, right off RT. 340. This is the newest Waffle House Restaurant I've ever visited. Everything is so bright, clean and we'll staffed. The staff greeted everyone who entered the store and service was fast.

The server was friendly. The coffee was hot and fresh. The food was made quickly and was all correct. The restaurant was mostly clean other than the floor in the kitchen had some trash laying around. We would return.

Our server Karen was fantastic and ask for a better server. Trystin I am guessing is a manager is LAZY. Hope she’s not a manager the way she barked at others, rude and just plain lazy.

I love the food and the small diner feel. My wife and i come fairly regularly and we always have a good time whether it's packed or empty and the people are super chill.

Sticky floor, unmotivated (but reasonable friendly) staff and very good food. Exactly the reasons why I like Waffle House.

As always, waffle house never fails to please! The staff here are the nicest and offered us their "Special" menu listing everything they can possibly make. Food was delicious and they provided us to go drinks without us even asking!

I’m rarely a fan of chain restaurants but I have to say that with Waffle House it consistently works and very well. This location is sort of new to our county and they’ve earned their stripes with the good food and service they are known for. I don’t know how they find the people who like their jobs, memorize intricate details of the many orders and never seem to get flapped. They are friendly and unflappable. I’m happy at the idea of going there and I know I’ll be entertained watching the synchronized staff, eating tasty food that’s fairly priced and always (somehow) served exactly as ordered.

With its old fashion Diner atmosphere this Waffle House has charm with great service and a powerful staff. Karen is the sweetest waitress ever. The food is always made to order and delicious. The bacon is cooked to perfection. Great place.
