Kid Care

This man truly cares about his patients! He was my pediatrician 20+ years ago and now he takes excellent care of my daughter. She loves him and his staff as they have always been very accommodating.

Dr. Khiami has been our youngest's pediatrician for a little more than 4yrs. In all honesty we think he has saved our child's life on more than one occasion. He is so very serious about his patients and their well being that I could not imagine having gone through this journey without him. Our little guy has special needs, not just medically but across the board and we feel sure that without his expertise, and his very real care for his patients that we might have lost our son. I most highly recommend Dr. Khiami and Kid Care for all.

Love this doctor. He really cares for the kids he works with. His staff is great as well. Wait time is long sometimes but it's worth it in my opinion.

There is minimal wait time every visit we have made. Thr staff has been mostly very kind and helpful. Dr. Khiamis office does not ban you if you can't make an appointment and will work with your schedule. He is also available 24/7 if needed. He's cute with the kids, and that's good. They got our childs shot records sorted and updated to WV for us which we appreciate. However, I've had some concerns. Dr. Khiami diagnosed my child with something our last ped missed which is good. But we had concerns related to this diagnosis for possible other very serious issues and reasons to suspect that there may be issues. Dr. Khiami was blowing me off as a parent. He was rude in his interactions, cutting me off instead of listening to concerns and acknowledging them, body language was dismissive. He was overly concerned with small things.. but not a potentially very serious concern. He was resistant to getting us the referrels we needed and refused to hear results of those once we had them. This left me feeling he is not serious about my child's health. If there's a concern it should be addressed fully. Even if everything's fine in the end, we have a need and a right to know. He regularly has student doctors following him around and some have approached me apologetically after watching the interactions and seeing my concerns invalidated. The Dr. wanted to see us nearly every week to monitor for this issue, seems unnecessary when we are seeing the right specialists. He seems more concerned my kid will think shes sick and be anxious. So just bury our head in sand? Its anxiety producing to watch a loved one very sick, and not know your own future due to genetic makeup. Im honest with her, and she never was fearful. Now she wont ever have to be, because she has results. Finally, I happened to overhear staff discussing significant changes in my child's eyesight comments made about how much of a decline in a short time, but was unaddressed with me, I pointed out her eyesight was 20/20 a month ago and asked for an eye appointment, but they declined to make a referral, they said we needed to make our own appointment. I dont know if this is normal but It wasn't easy to find one and get in. I also got the feeling that If I hadn't overheard I wouldn't have been told about her eyesight changes tho I don't know this for sure.

Took my kid here and he talk down to me in front of my children he is very unprofessional to say things he does to parents in front of their children ...he also threatened me with cps just for asking a simple questions due to my daughter being on ADHD medince what I can give her and what not I can give her ..my children didn't care to much for him because of how he addressed their mother for be ok ng concerned so I don't recommend going here unless ur child does not have to be placed on meds and u do not have questions for him in concerns for ur child and their well being because he doesn't care and his staff is very unprofessional also I ask for a grievance and they laughed in my face and said it was a private owned business if I didn't feel comfortable seeing khami to leave the premisis.
