I had an international package that was supposed to be here on 11/28 but U.S. customs held my dress in there forever. Anthony helped me track down my package, it was supposed to get to me the day after I left. I got a notification it was at the Ankeny post off as I was heading to the airport for vacation. I Asked them can they please check for my package. They were so kind! Anthony looked high and low. He found it. It’s the small things these days. I can’t thank the team enough.

My last visit was for a passport. If the guy at the desk hasn't worked as a ride attendant for an amusement park at some point, he missed his calling. Highly entertaining while also including all the pertinent information. I kept my arms and legs inside and was finished applying in no time.

I had the most delightful visit to the post office today. Obviously I knew there would be a line bc of the holidays especially, but it moved quick. Employees very knowledgeable and efficient, AND in good moods! All 3 of them were on. I had never mailed a package internationally before, but they were very patient and explanatory with me. I could never do their job. I commend them on what would be a thankless, demanding job.

For as much as the USPS has going wrong, it's important to remember these people are doing their jobs. I recently mailed a package (on a Saturday), with a single item in it. The front counter staff were amazing; they were efficient, cheerful and were helping customers as fast as they could. Once I got home, I realized the wrong item was in the package I just mailed. Called the office and they located the package and provided me with instructions to come back in and swap the items (same item); even though they were technically closed. They went above and beyond what they were obligated to do, and I appreciate the service they provide.

I called over lunch to track a missing package, Debbie was so friendly and called the carrier and returned my call within 5 minutes. The first time I've ever had a good experience with the post office. Pleasantly surprised!

We live in the SW corner of Ankeny and our mail carrier Debbie has been wonderful. We are getting married soon and have been getting all our RSVPs back and receiving a crazy amount of packages and Debbie has been doing an amazing job. We were gone for a few days and we easily had 100 RSVPs in our mail and she put a rubber band around them to keep them all together!! I cant thank her enough for her hard work! Give these folks more credit during this hard time, I couldn't imagine doing their job right now! You rock Debbie!!

Need to have mail postmarked and it was just past the cut off time. A postwoman was coming out to check the stamp machine. I asked about where I could go to get it done. I told her it was a deadline for my daughter's scholarship. She helped me get the correct postage on them and took them back with her to make sure they made it...I was so grateful and she was so helpful. My hero for the day!

Had a package get delivered to the wrong address but as soon as I called a fantastic worker named Amelia was sent went out of her way to search the mailboxes for our package. Thank you! And thank you to the man who sent her out so quickly, I'm sorry I didn't catch your name.

Jeff and Amy, really any team member at this location has always been extremely helpful and professional. They go above and beyond helping the public with useful bits of information. I come here at least twice a month for work/personal and actually enjoy the small talk and professional interactions that they provide.

So you know when you ship ups it still goes thru the post office right?! Ankeny is growing so fast and they r hiring new carries to expand. Give them time.

Very helpful, but they're always busy. Also it's a bit warm in there. But 5 stars for the helpfulness.

I occasionally ship packages to my elderly family and the staff is always courteous helpful and friendly ! Can’t thank them enough for their help .
