Dixie Bones BBQ

I came here with the intention of getting a to-go meal, but they had the Sunday buffet going on, so I decided to try that. The food was delicious. You can tell when a restaurant puts care and time into their food. I had the BBQ chicken, mac and cheese, collard greens and fried potatoes. And I have no complaints about any of it.

Will definitely return here in the future to try other things on the menu!

Catered for my grad party I came a bit early and they had it all prepared. It was packaged in coolers and was recently priced for 30 people exceeded. Our expectations of portions came with plenty of sides and sauce. It was a hit everybody loved it. The food was gone by the end of the night normally catering doesn’t go by that quick. Everyone was asking me where I got the food from. It was fantastic. Made my graduation party 10/10 would highly recommend cater from them for easy fast and delicious food

I actually went into labor🤰 in this restaurant 23 years ago and refused to leave without my collar greens because they are my favorite. I still feel that way today.🫶 Unfortunately, we're stationed in North Carolina now, so it's a little bit of a drive.🤣We stopped in this week to grab our favorite color greens and pork barbecue🐖. Of course, the muddy spuds 🥔were also delicious as always. The restaurant is always clean and has plenty of parking.

I like Dixie Bones. This is good bbq. The menu has lots of choices, and something to eat for everyone. Bring the kids, lots of hearty meal choices for them also! Leave some room for Dessert. When we were here, they had Pecan, Coconut, and fried Apple pie for the end of the meal or take ‘em home for later…I almost forgot, There’s homemade Bread pudding too!

Stopped here on my way home from Florida. The food was delicious. I had the 1/2 barbecue chicken it wasn't dry and barbecue sauce was tasty. The bartender was pleasant and I tipped her accordingly.

Great homemade BBQ, sides and desserts! We ordered the pulled pork sandwich with green beans and Mac, and a pulled pork platter with potato salad and baked beans, so we could share! Everything was fantastic and you could definitely tell every single item was homemade. We ordered a slice of pecan pie and coconut pie for dessert for the road. The service was kind and welcoming and quick to seat and serve us. They support law enforcement and seem to be a neighborhood staple with a lot of local character and sass! Definitely will be returning as a pitstop in our future travels!

A must visit BBQ spot, if your looking for an absolute great hole in the wall kinda place. From the great friendly staff to well price menu items, this restaurant will deliver. So fresh and flavorful were the dishes we order, yum!

We haven't had Dixie Bones in way to long. Today we were in the area and decided to treat ourselves. BOY was that a great choice. Still the same great food at a reasonable price. We got a pork platter with beans and rice, pork loaded tater, and to top it off a slice of chocolate and coconut cream pies. Yummmmmmy. Food coma is setting in lol. I highly recommend the collards.

Miguel was AMAZING. This was a random stop while we were traveling and we are so glad we stopped. The food was great, our server Miguel was so friendly and helpful.

Wonderful atmosphere! Great food! Amazing and friendly waiters! Some friendly guys and gals too. Pork BBQ is delicious!

A hidden gem of the area. The menu carries many staples of BBQ chain restaurants, but dialed up a notch due to the authentic cooking and work of the staff. Everything was cooked to perfection and our server Manuel was amazing.

We've been eating here since 1996; still great food and staff. Their catering is also great. We had Dixie Bones cater a few family events in the past and everyone was so pleased at how great the food is. The buffet on Sunday is pretty awesome too. Since Covid has been around the buffet is no longer available.

Oh man that was good! Got the 2 meat combo. The ribs and pork shoulder were amazing! Picked this place because it had a 4.3 with 504 reviews and now we know why they have maintained that 4.3. Victor was great and knew every question even the history of the place. Great time with great food!

This is a great place and take out of towners here regularly. We have also used their catering for school events, boy scouts, and parties. The service is amazing and you can tell people enjoy working there. A must try!!

I've been a Dixie Bones Fan for about 20 years. I lived in the area when I was pregnant with my son who is now 20!! I'd crave it. Everyone who would come visit made a request to go. My fiancee and I scooped up lunch too take to his son who was home with his first born for the first time!!! Well we were the reinforcement!!!! Lol, he loved the food too!

Dixie Bones STILL has the same great food I remember from over 14 YEARS ago!! On May 11th, we ate there for my father-in-law's birthday. He ate A LOT of ribs with cole slaw and macaroni and cheese as sides, and he said they were the best ribs he has had in quite a long time. He could not eat them all, so he took the rest home. My younger son was finally adventurous, and ate a chicken potato (this kid is REALLY picky). He said he loved it, and he'd eat one again! My husband and I had our usual from eons ago--pulled mixed chicken for him, and pulled white meat chicken for me, both with red-skin potato salad. My older son had the same. We ate the sandwiches with cole slaw and the traditional wet sauce (it's certainly runny, but tastes delicious). My only regret is not ordering sandwiches and potato salad to take home! A great family place to eat, and the desserts are also delicious!!

The ribs were OK and the beans and rice didn't have great flavor. The Mac and cheese was delicious and so was the catfish. The cornbread was dry. Our server was good

Wow, excellent BBQ. Loaded stuffed Potatoe with chicken was fantastic. Homemade mac & cheese was great as well. Definitely recommend. Brandon, the waiter was friendly and attentive.
