An absolute MUST go place for breakfast and brunch fanatics! Great service, HUGE portions, quality food. Very affordable prices on everything. The pancakes are bigger in person than even the photos show. Same for homemade hot biscuits. Tom is a great dude who cares for his customers clearly. Heather is the best waitress ever. Super friendly and kind. Ask for her if you can. Her favorite color is pink! Dallas fans gonna love this place as the walls are covered in Cowboy swag. The ham slice and 2 eggs plate with country fried potatoes is a winner in my book for sure. Just $14.50 for all that food! Winning!

My husband and I decided to try this place out after reading plenty of great reviews. Let me just say, this place is amazing! We got there as soon as they opened at 6:30. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by Heather who was so upbeat and friendly. We ordered the Traveller’s Long Haul, Breakfast Tacos, and a side biscuit with gravy. The portions are huge and the quality was phenomenal! My flapjackies were so light and fluffy. My husbands tacos were so stuffed full of eggs, meat, and cheese that he could hardly close them. The in house salsa was flavorful and complimented the tacos very well. And the biscuit and gravy, my goodness, it was huge. It was fluffy and moist and the sausage gravy we got to go with it was so flavorful. We plan to come back many more times in the future!

Bring an appetite or bring more people because you're not finishing this food. All the portions are huge and require heavy lifting. I'm having trouble breathing due to Heather making us laugh. She was an amazing waitress and she was so nice. Really recommend the chicken fried steak as it's the best one I've found since moving to dfw.

What a GREAT place for breakfast!!! The model for how restaurants and ANY customer-oriented business should be.

This place is really what I wish every restaurant on the planet was like. We were immediately greeted by a genuinely friendly Heather, who got us seated, and then immediately got us huge cups of great coffee.

The menu is a good mix of traditional and variations-on-traditional breakfast meals. Be warned…the portions are GINORMOUS! The biscuit in my daughter’s biscuit and gravy (biscuit…singular) was a bit bigger than a softball. My son’s cinnamon roll french toast had four large slices of toast. My wife’s strawberry blintz took up a large plate and had a full cup of strawberries. My brother’s country breakfast included four strips of bacon, and came with seven.

You get the idea. Big portions, so come hungry! And, be prepared to be full. We finished eating at 11, and none of us was hungry again until dinner.

All of the food was perfect. I asked for over-medium eggs. They came over medium. The hash browns were crisp on the outside, and fluffy on the inside. The sausage gravy didn’t break halfway through the meal, but didn’t rely on a bunch of starch or stabilizers to keep it thick.

Every component of every dish was perfectly cooked and plated.

Heather was the model for what friendly, attentive service should be. She immediately greeted seated us. She made us feel welcome, always checked on coffee and warmed us up if we needed it. She let us customize dishes as needed, and our entire party’s food was delivered quickly and at the same time. From “welcome” to check, it was exceptional, superb service.

Highly recommend, and highly recommend going out of your way to eat here, if for no other reason than it will restore your faith that some restaurants know how to feed and treat you.

If you haven’t meant to Jackie’s ham and eggs, you’re truly missing out. Food is outstanding and huge. Make sure you ask for Heather, she will make you feel like family. Definitely worth the 45 minute drive from our house. Can’t wait to visit again.

We found this place off of an IG page. My son, my bestie and myself went here after to church on 4/7/2024. The service was amazing and our waitress was a hoot 😂!!! Heather I think was her name. She was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!! We will definitely be back. Food was 🤤 and the portion sizes 😍😍😍!!!

The best breakfast food I’ve ever had. The pancakes were HUGE and so delicious. The biscuits and gravy were fantastic. Heather is the sweetest as well and so warm and welcoming. I will 1000% be coming back.

Came here for a family breakfast and I ordered a chocolate chip pancake. I was not expecting this colossal chocolate wonder to appear, my daughter was very jealous and immediately wanted to share breakfast with me.

Heather was absolutely phenomenal and helped us with our family breakfast. The entire staff was attentive and the food was mind blowing. Come with an appetite for some amazing food!

This place is amazing. We got biscuit and gravy as well as the light travelers meal. There is nothing light or under whelming about this. The biscuits are as big as a full size cake. And so perfect. The flapjack is literally spilling over the large plate and about an 1 1/2 inch thick....highly recommend this place is amazing.

The food is really good and reasonably priced for the large portions you receive. You gotta try the home fries and the gigantic biscuit.

Coming from Florida I’ve always been a breakfast girl, but once I came across Jackie ham and eggs it was phenomenal. Let me start with Heather. She is a phenomenal waitress and she brings a lot of warm spirit towards you when you’re sitting there talking with. When the pancake came out, I was overwhelmed or how big it was that I couldn’t even finish it, but it was amazing. Prices are reasonable to the point you can order one meal that can feed the entire table. I suggest this place to anyone please come here and have a great experience.

Absolutely loved this place!! Has the atmosphere of a small mom and pop brunch place. You are welcomed with with a lot of southern hospitality and "welcome sugar" is a common greeting. We ordered the special french toast plate and egss topped on tortilla chips. I was ordering two pancakes but the server warned me against it. I realized why when the pancake came. They are absolutely huge and delicious. Infact all portion sizes are huge. The service was quick and everything tasted really good.

When they say that the servings can feed a family! Oh man it's so true! The food is amazing! The staff is above amazing so friendly, outgoing, loving and the best! They treat you just like family given you the best hospitality ever! Our waitress Heather was the best ! We will DEFINITELY be coming back! Thank you Tommy for taking the time to greet us! Now that's an awesome Owner!

I genuinely loved the atmosphere! Everyone was very nice and was welcoming and I had heather as my server she was so genuine and the food was soo good and big portions very affordable, I took my leftovers! Definitely will be back to support this small family business!

Staff is amazing, they are attentive and know their menu very well.
Place does get full in weekends, the building appears old so there is a bit of a smell nothing too bad, but could give a 5 star for atmosphere.

Just WOW! My boyfriend and I were visiting town and love discovering new breakfast spots- and so happy we came across Jackie’s. As soon as we walked in, we were warmly and enthusiastically greeted. Every person we came across was genuine, attentive, peppy, and giving that solid Texas breakfast experience.
Service, amazing! Food, delicious and gives the wow factor! Atmosphere, quaint and cozy. Thank you, we hope to be passing by again soon. 😋

Summer was the best waitress. The entire staff was awesome and attentive. Highly recommended you will definitely leave satisfied and full.

My husband and I had the chicken fried steak breakfast. It was phenomenal! We added a biscuit for a $1 and a pancake for $2. My goodness was it worth it! That pancake is no joke! It was huge, fluffy and so delicious! If the food wasn’t enough to keep us coming back it was our waitress Heather! She was welcoming, helpful and a joy to be around! They should write a song about her😉

This place is definitely worth the drive ! So if you ever think of not coming because of it don’t because it’s worth it ! This service was wonderful from Heather and rigo always working so hard . This was my first time ever and I will say I will be back 100% . The food was great and the portion of the food is Ginormous and I can almost guarantee you won’t finish it . 10/10
