Half Price Books

Why do I ever go to any other bookstore? I mean, I get event releases and such, but for a book that's been out for any number of days, this is the place to be. I've been able to complete a lot of sets for my classroom in their clearance section. I even found a few comic back issues that I didn't want to pay back issue prices for.

This will now be the first stop rather than anywhere else.

I love this place. I sell stuff when my collections get too excessive, toys, games, whatever. And they usually have whatever I'm looking to read or they can get it fairly quick from another location. I also just like the general atmosphere

I love going here. A recent treasure I discovered here is their Blank Journals. I exclusively visit this store for their books on Art, Artists and Architecture. They have some Led records too that I need to save up for. Friendly staff and clean store. Even though I've moved further away from it I will keep going here.

This Half Price Books is very well run and organized! While I didn't purchase anything, it was very easy to find the sections and topics that I was looking for. I love coming to this store!

EDIT: They've put in some effort organizing the kids section, and it shows!

EDIT #2: even though it was very busy, there were still plenty of Staff around to help, and all of the sections were very well organized! Made it very easy to look for and find any items you might want.

My daughter and I discovered this book store about a month ago and now we can't stop going lol From used to new books,music CDs, DVDS, different subjects and awesome clearance section. If you are in the area, check it out for yourself!

They always have what I'm looking for and the price is awesome

Everyone shop here. Barnes and Noble closed down so this is the only bookstore in Lewisville that I know of. Keep the doors open.

1st time selling my book and I had 4 boxed books and it didn't even take long and the gentleman there was really nice about everything!

One of the worst problems with books at stores is that the stickers on the cover with the price tag always leaves a residue when you try to get it off but they are always so careful that theres no sticky stuff left over and thats the best part of the entire store. They have exactly what i want every time i go and its so nice in there. The books are used but not ruined like some other places ive been. 10/10 would read again.

This place is for anyone who still wants to read from paper. The store shelves are full. Wish the store was bigger, like the one on 75 and loop 12. Nevertheless, the staff is very helpful and very friendly. Its amazing, that I find similar kind of people working at nearly all the half price book stores I have been too. "Hippish with tattoos and a few with earrings. They really are not into dressing. Casual. They are just lovely people and don't you go on appearances; they love books and can talk to you on almost any subject. And they carry the Dallas observer, a great paper. Reminds me of the 70s.
The one thing I am not very happy about is the money you get when you sell to them. Wish it was a little more. But overall, you can get to know the world in this little store.

Half priced books is my favorite store. Although the Lewisville location is probably the smallest that I've been to, it has some awesome gems. They have a very good collection of childrens books and random stuff for kids. Very helpful staff will help you find whatever it is that you are looking for and if it's not at their location they can help order it for you!
