I had to call to verify the status of an Amazon Prime package sent via USPS. The person who answered the phone was very helpful and helped me to understand USPS web status. Contrary to some of the other reviews I have had very good experiences with the staff at this post office.

The staff is so welcoming and always eager to help here. There are so many negative reviews but I have never had a bad experience here. I'm usually in and out in less than 5 minutes.

It's a post office. The only complaint I really have is that they lock access to the boxes at 5 on weekdays. 2 on Saturdays, and closed completely on Sundays and holidays. I have not experienced a post office that does not allow 24/7 access to your post office box until this one.

I go here and drive an extra mile to have friendly courteous service and to avoid the one at Castle Shannon at all costs. It's next door to a really good bakery and coffee shop. So I visit both when going this way.

The guy who works here is so rude to customers. I have witnessed this more than once. I was standing in line today and witnessed him being so terrible to another customer. The customer was kind and he was a jerk. I left and went to another post office because I didn’t want to deal with him. He needs to learn kindness and patience! He shouldn’t be face to face with customers!

The absolute worst post office carriers,and desk staff that i've ever experienced in my life. Since 8/2020 I moved to this area, I've had so many packages, mail, and large envelopes missing. Informed Delivery helps a lot, however nobody is held accountable for these thefts.
I get mail that never goes through the scanners, and comes from fraudulent entitles.
If you have a problem and call the office directly, they are extremely unprofessional and rude.
This Post office needs to be investigated by the United States Postal Inspectors, not local FEDERAL.
I have had numerous mail Personal Identifiable information enclosed, and Envelopes opened and stolen. I have had packages opened and items missing, and quite many never showed up.
There are numerous Condos, retirement homes, and apartment buildings that make us an easy target of Mail, Healthcare,Voter, and Identity fraud. Nobody does nothing to weed out the bad people working in and out of the Post Office and it's Unacceptable.

Every single time I expect a package, someone is home to accept the package. Yet, every time they leave a note on the door saying there was nowhere to leave my package. He doesn't ring the doorbell, doesn't knock, nothing.

Sometimes, the tracking will say it was delivered, but I don't receive it until a month later when someone on an entirely different street 5 blocks away brings it to my door.

We get the wrong mail every week. Not even close to our address. Incompetent does not even begin to describe this Post Office. They have the smallest parking lot I have ever seen for customers, and a private lot for employees that could easily fit 20 vehicles, yet I have never seen more than 2 employees at a time.

I hate this Post Office so much.

Over 2017 and 2018 about 50% of the time (3 times out of 6) I went for the PO box at 6am and the front door still locked. I wait until 6:10, then have to go around back and yell till someone working the back half-asleep leaves his post to open the front. I wouldn't be there at 6am if I didn't have real work obligations I have to get to (this post office doesn't have to deal with real world job survival like I do). I told them multiple times that they should just change their open hour to 6:30am since they can't get to work before then. Terrible. Note that I haven't tried in 2019 yet, so maybe things have gotten better. If not, time for a new general manager.

I am so terribly disappointed. After all of the time, money and hard work invested in my wedding invitations, the Mt. Lebanon Post Office wasn't even able to fulfill my "hand cancelling" request. Hand cancelling means to stamp each invitation rather than run them through a machine. There were only 100 invitations. Because of their lack of care, the wax seal on the inside of the envelope was smooshed and the outer envelope looked like it had been through the ringer.

We paid a fortune in postage. On top of that, I called the post office beforehand to confirm that they could hand-cancel. The lady was very rude when I dropped the invitations off and said "I will do my best". I have a hard time believing that was her best. God forbid a little manual labor required for such an important piece of mail (in my eye's at least).

No mail delivery on Serrano Ave on 1/4/18. The tracking on my package said it was out for delivery but no package. Poor sorting of mail. Getting other people's mail.Update on 1/5/18, tracking on my package says that a notice was left which is not true because no mail was left at all. Contacting postal inspector today to investigate this post office.
