Crown Maple Estate

State of the art maple syrup farm. We went to their fall festival and hiked the farm. The trees are beautiful now (October). We tasted the maple syrup and sugar - delicious. We bought the maple syrup aged in bourbon barrels. Very unusual, but delicious. They are open on weekends. It's worth the drive!

On a road trip in the fall, we came across this wonderful farm where you can taste the varieties of maple syrup. Beautiful estate with a cafe and outdoor fire pit. Crown Maple is worth every penny for their maple syrup is delicious.

Absolutely beautiful estate house and grounds. Great selection of beer and brunch offerings. The coffee is excellent. The prices in the shop are surprisingly reasonable. All of the staff members were very nice and helpful. They have an outdoor fire pit with complimentary marshmallow roasting.

I am definitely coming back in the fall.

Visited on a Midwinter Sunday. No tours available that day however staff arranged for a private tasting for our group of 4. Great selection of maple products in gift shop. Delicious brunch consisting of a variety of maple themed Foods. Beer and wine available . On weekends they have a fire pit in front with marshmallows to toast. It was nice enough outside for us to do a brief hike around the property through the woods near some small ponds with a great View through the Hills towards Connecticut. Will go back some time to explore more of their trails.

If you want great maple syrup, this is the place for you. Set in the country, they make their own syrup from trees on the property. They have a cafe where you can get something to eat, and give tours and explain the making of the syrup. At the end of the tour you can taste various varieties. They also make specialty flavors like Bourbon and vanilla flavor. All are for sale in the gift shop. Worth the trip.

My favorite maple syrup! Love that it's organic and the blueberry is my favorite!! I keep hoping to find it locally (the blueberry in particular) in Putnam, Westchester or Dutchess though, so I don't have to pay for shipping. Would love any suggestions!

Great experience! We went on a really cold day. The food from the cafe was good but took some time getting to us. The tour was really informational and interesting definitly worth it and I loved driving through the other parts of Dutchess county that I don't usually get to see to get there. Might come back in the spring to hike around. Driving up to the sugar house you see all the tubing in the trees and how they collect. They also have a fire going outside the sugar house you can roast marshmallows.

My first time visiting Crown Maple was over Maple Weekend. While there were a lot of people there for the same reason, it was interesting to learn more about the process of making the maple syrup. The staff there was very knowledgeable in the process and was happy to answer all of our questions. A very nice facility with beautiful grounds. Would love to come back in the nicer weather and explore the property a bit more. Delicious maple syrup and other maple products.

We visited this estate for a Maple Weekend. We loved the opportunity to ask questions about processing maple sap. All of the staff, including the staff for the vendors, were very knowledgeable and patient with questions. Slate Point Meadery and Angry Orchard, in particular, showcased some very high-quality products. We look forward to another visit at another event.

Amazing place. Call first for exact directions. GPS will send you down roads you don't want to be on. Others where you can not make the turn with a trailer. Beautiful facility.

Beautiful grounds, amazing maple syrup products. You can take a tour of the facility or go hiking. I highly recommend trying the applewood smoked, bourbon barrel, and vanilla maple syrup flavors!

Beautiful area, impressive syrup-making operation, interesting and informative tour, delicious syrup. Also the cafe has great food and the best beer cheese soup in NY!

1st time visit. My daughter brought me. She has been a few times. So amazing on the process of getting the sap from trees on a large scale. So different from backyard tree tapping.

Very good place to stay. Syrups with different tastes and flavors/smoked are very good. There was a cafe having good foods and beverage but now sorry to see them go.

Beautiful farm that's its like nature's haven...... they make organic maple syrup right there "Crown Maple Syrup" . Everything is beautiful at farm,the buildings,the surrounding,is nature clean !

Favorite local maple sugarhouse! Take a tour, sample their product, and enjoy lunch in the cafe. There are a few short hiking trails on the property as well.

I live in Arkansas but will definitely visit if I make it to the east coast someday.

Maple syrup at its finest! Where else can you do shots of syrup and have chicken and waffles. The boozy got chocolate is a must when they have it!

Came here for maple weekend. Had a great time! Beautiful grounds, excellent service. Highly recommend

Closed to public but you can go pick up if you give them a call and order the day before.
