I didn't buy anything this go around,but everyone was pleasant and attentive to what I wanted.

We have purchased our last 7 vehicles here and was recently told that the best service manager Joe K has come back home to this dealership. Trust me when I say this is the absolute best decision Centereach Hyundai has ever made getting this extremely dedicated professional to run the mechanic shop. Joe K has exceptional customer service skills and really cares aboout every car that enters the shop like it's his own.

They were fair about the repair. Was charged for part only, labor was free. Sometimes this I guess is how warranty repairs work. Satisfied

Nice helpful attention

Not great. First visit for my 1 year check up. I waited 1/2 hour just to get checked in. Got the car back and they never did the NYS inspection. They also neglected to reset the service light. So I had to book another appointment a week later. Also 1/2 hour wait to check in, and I had an appointment both times. This was a "waiting" appointment but they said it could take 1.5 hours. So I took an Uber home instead of waiting there.
My overall impression. They are a bit scattered. Not really paying attention to what they need to do.

Missed repair to windshield blades. Different air press in tires ( 36, 38, 40 41)

Service seems to get worse and worse each time. Over 2 hours for an oil change and tire rotation when you have an appointment is simply inexcusable. WhiIe I know the service is free, it's almost worth it to go pay to have it done elsewhere, as my time is worth something.

Would leave zero stars if I could . Rude advisors . Tried to speak with service manager upon first appointment with vehicle #1 ,was told he was busy and was going to be doing a conference call soon so he couldn’t talk . Returned an hr later with my second Hyundai for another appointment for vehicle #2 . I asked to speak with service manager again before I brought second car in , service advisor wanted to know why , when I told him he gave me inaccurate information. So I asked again to speak to service manager Tattooed gentlemen didn’t even turn around and told me mgr was busy and to wait in my car he would let me know when mgr was available. ( manager was in full view , he never attempted to speak w/ mgr ) To no surprise he never came to talk.

My daughter brought her car in to find out what was wrong with it. Vehicle is undriveable due to braking problem. It’s been a week so far no diagnostics and absolutely no communication with the service department. She’s called various times, had left a number of helpful messages and still nothing. I’ve told her what to do next but so far is still holding out hope for resolution to problem. Please do not buy anything from this disreputable company. If I could give a zero rating I would. She needs her car back with the problem resolved!!!

Brought it in for a service engine diagnosis. Told me it was almost $1000 to resolve whatever was kicking this light, then when we came in to pickup, and not before, the service advisor tells me the light may or may not come on again. If it does it will be another $1400. No more then a half a mile from dealership light came back on. Misdiagnosed and wouldn't refund my wasted money. I've called couple times but have yet to get back to me to resolve this Misdiagnosis. Baited me and switched diagnosis. Wouldn't stand by their original diagnosis.

UPDATE: Finally got through to a service manager and they agreed to start over and look at our car again because original problem wasn't resolved. So I brought it in again and they swapped out another part which didn't fix it but then was able to find the part responsible however it cost me an additional $385 instead but combined with the first misdiagnosis and final diagnosis, it cost me almost $1400. Even though they misdiagnosed first repair, they refused to refund me that amount of $985. Had I not disputed this first repair they would have charged me an additional $1400 on top of $985 from which they would have took from me almost $2400. So while my effort didn't rid me of the first misdiagnosed repair costs, I got them to re-diagnose and finally find the problem. Disputing with my credit card was useless because they almost always side with merchants. Bottom line stay away from dealers and especially Centereach of Hyundai.

Horrible service. They are only interested in getting you out the door without helping. In my experience they are not interested in helping customers under warranty, only customers that are paying out of pocket.
