Hands down the ABSOLUTE BEST video game store in all of New York!
Went in to trade in a brand new Xbox One and got a great deal that couldn't be beat by competitors. GameStop offered $90 and Play n Trade doubled that! The owner talked and joked around with us like old friends for the 15 minutes we were there, making us feel welcome and left us leaving in a better mood than when we entered. The store is impeccably clean and tidy, everything is easy to find, and they have a wide range of collectibles I've never seen anywhere else. If you need a game for ANY CONSOLE, be it the old school NES or a brand new PS4, they'll have it. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Used and new games (mostly used) for virtually every video game console ever released. They have Atari, Game Gear, even Virtual Boy. Some of it is pricey but is competitive with prices you find on Ebay and Amazon. They don't always have what I want but it's fun to go and look anyway. Sure you could just order any game you want online but where's the fun in that? The staff is knowledgeable and the store hours are lengthy. They even let you try a game before you buy it! Overall great store for old and hard to find games! I visit at least once a month.

Been coming here for years and allways find awesomeness everytime ...this last time I came in I found an amazing magic card and one time i found a original ff7 and ff tactics games there. ...this place is like game stop if game stop was still awesome

There is a reason why this is the only surviving play n trade in New York. The reason is Rich the owner. He is well respected in the long island retro gaming community. Awesome spot for trading card games, board games and video games old and new.

this place has great employees and a whole ton of games! Everyone is so nice, definitely always coming back for all of my video game and Magic the Gathering needs!

Truly a stor that takes you back in time the further you go down. The walls are flooded with games from Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 and all the way down to NES. There's a good surplus of old and retro consoles from every generation with a very good amount of collectible/ rare consoles and boxes in the back gallery.

Very cool gaming den. Walked in to people playing catan and a big table of what looked like magic the gathering. Owner was very knowledgeable and their selection was above average.

I was referred to this store by there competitor, and i love the store. Had everything i needed at the right price. Staff was very knowledgeable and and answered every question without making me sound like an idiot. I find myself coming back here every time i get paid.

Pretty nice inventory of retro games ... prices are competitive. I am definitely adding this Play N Trade to my list of regular game shops.
