Honestly one of our favorite places to look for records in and around the Charlotte area. Lots of great used rock and pop. A good selection of new records as well. Everything is fairly priced too. We end up buying most of the used records we’re interested in because the records are usually in excellent condition. There are also some other really cool items that are always fun to look at. And the owner is super nice too.

I started collecting vinyl again in early 2022 and Jack's shop quickly became a regular stop for me. He has an excellent selection of new and used vinyl, cds, tapes, and various other collectibles that are fun to check out. The space is always tidy and everything is easy to find. It's always a pleasure to drop in and I never leave empty-handed. Highly recommend!

One of the top record stores in the Charlotte metro area. The selection is great, and I always end up finding more records than I can afford--but that's not a bad problem to have. The owner is a friendly guy, and, most importantly, the prices are reasonable.

I can't rave about this place enough!! The customer service is excellent and the selection is the absolute BEST! If you collect physical media, like CD's and vinyl, you do not want to miss out on Mad Jack's!

I highly recommend making this a regular stop for your music! Always worth the trip. I travel nearly an hour on a regular basis. Jack always has new stock, great prices and guarantees everything. The best part about Mad Jack’s is how nice of people they are. That’s really what keeps me coming back.

Beautiful place, bought a ton of old comics and some records at a good price, sold some of my own comic books that I had, the "Mad Jack" is a really nice guy, will definitely be back soon.

I love going to Mad Jack’s. The place is cozy and all that work there are awesome and very helpful. I always bring any guests that visit me and the quality of the vintage albums is always top notch. I would totally recommend this shop for anyone who loves vinyl or comic books.

We loved looking around the great selection of vinyl and other vintage finds at Mad Jacks. We were thrilled to find nostalgic 80s glasses for a great price to take home with us. We will definitely go back!

I came here in search of some CDs to keep in my car and I was not disappointed! They also had beautiful jewelry for sale which was to my surprise. It was a little busy so I didn’t get a chance to see everything else in depth, but I’m excited to come back another time. The man who rang me out seemed really nice.

Great selection of new & used vinyl classic rock / blues albums, it’s of the best in Charlotte area. Check them out, it’s worth the drive to Matthews.

Me and my Dad come to Jack's almost every Saturday. He's always got a new selection of fairly priced records. If records aren't your thing, he's still got something for everyone. Jack is good to his regulars, and is all in all a good dude.

I visited Jacks the other day and was delighted to find what was in store. I was told he had an awesome collection of records (which he does) but I also found all sorts of other cool stuff. He has comic books, collectables and he even does restorations to antiques! Now, I don't have any antiques to be repaired but I'll be going back over and over to skim through his fantastic collection of records, cds and cassette tapes.

Always a great experience at Mad Jack's! Today I had the opportunity to bring my oldest daughter with me who loved her first experience there! Can't wait for our next visit!

I love shopping here! They have a huge review of vinyls and comics. Even comics that aren’t superhero related which is perfect for me. It’s a great place to find authentic jewelry as well.
